Leonardo Hotel Wolfsburg City Center

Perfect place, if You are visiting city to see Volkswagen museums and fashion outlets. Hotel is located just at the pedestrian street, which leads to Volkswagen factory and, of course, fashion outlets. It takes only 15 minute walk. You don't need to stay for 30 mins in waiting lane for outlet parking. From this hotel everything in the city is reachable by foot. Hotel has nice and wide premises. Room was very large with nice view. For extra charge hotel offers underground parking, which is very convenient in bad weather times. There is a swimming pool and sauna for visitors. Royal breakfast. And very friendly and helpful staff.

I suggest to widen restaurant menu. It was a little bit too less for such place.

Upon arrival, I forgot my laptop bag outside in the smoking area and went to my room. One of the staff members spotted the lost bag and secured it at the check-in desk. When I realised I forgot my bag and asked at the reception, the staff returned it to me. I appreciated the service and wanted to reward the staff for finding it, but they said it's their job and their service for guests. Highly appreciated, many thanks again.

The previous guest in my room left the toilet brush really dirty in the bathroom. This must have been overlooked while cleaning the room. Generally the room was in excellent condition, except for this one item. On one onvernight during a business trip including a business dinner, there is never enough time to appreciate and use all the available facilities that the hotel has on offer.

Small but comfortable.

I paid for breakfast buffet. Since I have no time to enjoy the great selection of food there, I asked if I can pack some food and take away. This request was rejected. Even when I mentioned I only want to have 2 eggs. I hope this can be changed so it’s more convenient for us who have sometimes no time for breakfast. It can be a Hotel selection food with some certain food. So it can prevent guest take away too many food and also meet guest’s request.

I must mention that the bed was sooooo comfortable!!! The room was big enough to relax, and the bathroom had a bathtub(which is rare in the hotels in Germany of this price range), and nice coffee machine. The hotel staff were nice and helpful enough even I arrived quite late at night. I parked the hotel garage but there are some places along side the road and in front of the hotel that you might be able to park. Easy to access from Road 39, easy to walk to the city center, a perfect location. The bathroom facility might seem to be a bit old type but no problem of using at all. I truly recommend this hotel in Wolfsburg.

Nothing particular.

- room was clean and spacious, beds were comfy, - pretty close to the city center and auto city, - Nice and clean swimming pool. - great view over the city from room

- you have to pay additional 15 EUR per day for parking, - building is quite old and need some renovation works, - breakfast for 17 EUR per person - no kettle in a room, there was only Coffee machine, but if you want boiling water for tea or baby food you still can smell coffee taste in it.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff, clean rooms, royal breakfast. Very convenient underground parking (especially good, if the weather on the street isn't the best). Nice pool and sauna area. From other side entrance hotel is located on pedestrian street, which leads to the center of the city - VW museums, outlets, restaurants etc etc.

Restaurant menu is a bit too short

Quality hotel at a reasonable price - really impressed that the minibar was free. Bar food was good quality and well priced. Pity we only had one night there as a stopover en route to Berlin. Unfortunately, our reason for choosing Wolfsburg proved unsuccessful as the VW Museum was closed due to flood damage (not the hotel's fault obviously)

Not quite as close to the motorway or city centre as I expected but didn't ruin anything as a result.

Overall a very pleasant stay, we had a comfy spacious room for the family. great breakfast, the hotel is centrally located. very friendly staff.

We booked this hotel specifically because it had the swimming pool. we were not notified about this, but on our arrival we learned it is closed. it was a big disappointment. We asked and received a free breakfast instead though, which was very nice.

The hotel is well organized and meets actual standards. The rooms have a coffee machine in each room and a free bottle of water. The WiFi coverage and stability is good, which enables working from the hotel room.

The parking situation is not good, if the arrival/ return to the hotel is late. In my case, I woke up every day at 4 am due to guest noises from one level above.

Parking at the hotel was very convenient and I believe was free. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful. The front desk staff were helpful as well.

There was a sound in the outside wall near the window which sounded like a cell phone vibrating. I kept waking up to answer my phone. Could have been some building equipment getting signals.
