Even if there are gluten free options and bread for breakfast there is poor knowledge of celiac disease and food cross contamination (as in most part of Germany). Before to order I asked if that meal is safe for me and they said yes but they served it with a slice of normal bread in the dish. Not a good thing, but besides that I explained again the problem and the cross contamination and they made another time the meal.

The staff was very friendly (especially the lady at the check-in). We had a beautiful spacious room with a balcony that provided panoramic views of the lake. The first minibar is included, which is very nice. The bathroom was fantastic as well, very large with a beautiful sink, and a huge plus was the amazing view of the lake from the bathtub. The hotel was very clean, and the pool was also great (an added bonus: they provided swim towels in the room, very convenient). There was nothing to complain about the breakfast; you could enjoy it while overlooking the lake, and there was plenty of variety in terms of food. We had also requested a baby crib, and they had prepared it for us along with baby products. A little lower than the hotel, you can take the bus to Überlingen. There's a good connection with two buses per hour.

If I can point out a minor downside, it would be that the playground for children is a bit outdated and could use a refresh. Also there are a lot of stairs everywhere so sometimes complicated tho find your way.

We spent three nights at Park Hotel St Leonhard as a part of our European road trip. The staff were all very friendly and coped well with our limited ability to speak German. Our room was large and comfortable with a lake view. There was plenty of free parking. We had one evening meal in the restaurant which was very good. The breakfast offering was also very good. There is a regular bus service into Uberlingen which is free to use for hotel guests.

The sauna and spa is indeed nice however calling it "Panorama sauna" is quite window dressing. No panorama sauna existing (only a regular one without panorama view, actually without any view at all). If you are lucky to get a seat on the first row bench on the terrace outside of the spa area you will face a big roof in front of you and behind that the Bodensee (Lake Constance). Fair enough. However the sauna space itself is really nice.

25€ per night for a small dog is insanely overpriced and not at all fair (I bring his bed, breakfast, drinks and comfort). A lot of staff with very poor German language skills, that's actually embarrassing. Half the pages, apps and services I use on my electronic devices didn't work with the WIFI.

Loved having breakfast on the terrace, with a lake view. Breakfast was superb. Self-serve buffet, with a wide selection of high quality food including salmon, Alp Blossom cheese (my favourite), overnight oats, a wide range of breads and jams, fruit etc. Good coffee and a selection of cheeses. Room was spotless and had a balcony. A nice touch was the frige in the room, and - even better, given how hot it was - it was stocked with a few cooling drinks, free of charge. There was also a kettle in the room. Our room had a balcony and although it was billed as having a "country" view, we did have a tiny glimpse of the lake - bonus! Plenty of free parking. The hotel provided us with a free travel card each, so that we could use trains and buses around Uberlingen and along the lake - fantastic!

It's a long walk uphill from the main part of town if you don't take the bus!

breakfast room. There were many different rooms, it was not really clear where you can sit. choices of food was different in different rooms. Coffee machine was available in one certain room but not in others. It was confusion.

The location

The breakfast is not well organised and the staff is not communicative. The restaurant provides a limited offer so it is better to find another place to eat.

The view is amazing. Huge Terrace. Breakfast was good! Free parking and a bus stop nearby.

Very peaceful, beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. Easy access to town on foot on by bus. Parking sufficient.
