Location was great and walking distance to city center and and main train station,

When you are staying in this hotel then all your intercity tram and bus ticket will be free , however the hotel staff never mentioned this to us and we had found this out on our last day by a bus driver ,

A standard hotel with a slightly outdated 1990s charm - but the location is good, it was squeaky clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was absolutely brilliant, everyone was genuinely friendly, cheerful and super-helpful. We usually prefer smaller, more individual hotels, and only chose this one because it was the only hotel that still had rooms available - but it turned out to be an enjoyable stay because of the lovely staff.

The breakfast room was a bit drab and 'functional', so we decided to have breakfast in one of the little cafes in town. Otherwise the only potential niggle might be that they don't have airco - on the other hand, airconditions are environmental homicide, so maybe we should count that as a plus?!

The hotel is situated adjacent to the railway station and very near to the center at only a 5-10 minutes walk away. Not only that, but the tram/bus station is at the hotel and you get a free ticket for public transport for your hole stay. We had a good view to the large Grundhal Platz. We came from Hamburg by a rented car and there is a parking garage about 30 m from the entrance, furthermore you have 20 minutes free parking at the square to check-in or out. The room was large enough, the bed was comfortable, although slightly too soft for my like. The breakfast was good.

The sound proofing of the room is not perfect, but not too bad either.

Location was perfect for the train traveler since hotel is right next door to the Bahnhof. The luggage storage was GREAT as I could leave my bags and start wandering around Schwerin right away. Hotel was not air conditioned but luckily it was not THAT hot while I was there. Lighting in the room was actually pretty good. Schwerin is a fairly small town with a MAGNIFICENT castle which also now serves as the Parliament Building for the state of Mecklinburg-West Pomerania. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful castle which is also illuminated at night while I was there.

Bed was a little less firm than I prefer but it wasn't that bad. No real issues with the hotel during my stay. There weren't that many choices for eating outside the hotel in the immediate area but if you walked toward the downtown area, there were adequate choices.

The location is perfect, the hot shower, WIFI and breakfast. Staff members are friendly in a German way. They did everything to make my stay comfortable. They even have a storage for suitcases in case one has pending meetings on the day they are checking out.

The pillows were a bit softer for me but that is an individual choice. Considering the number of visits due to its strategic location. They are doing their best!!!

Location excellent. Ideal for train and bus travellers. Easy 10 min walk to all main sites. Price even for a Saturday night good value for money Reception warm and friendly Room spacious quiet good outlook. Dated but very comfortable. Super clean Wifi excellent stable

For those that are sensitive to fragranced products note that room had strong smell from cleaning products. Still present the following morning.

Location is great next to the station, specially since I was traveling with family, carried a lot of luggage and we had to catch a specific train the next day. The distances to the city center and the castle are relatively short, as you will be there in 5-10 minutes. The hotel is a bit old but honestly I think it is not bad at all for the price you pay.

I think the breakfast is very expensive (15 euros per person). One can alternatively buy coffee from a machine in the lobby and get something from the bakery in the station...

Location was amazing, very easy to find and reach. The room was clean and well-equipped, even had a second bed that I didn't pay for or use. Plenty of towels were made available to me. The staff was nice and helpful.

Breakfast started too late for my liking, that's why I didn't get to try it before leaving. I also had to wake the staff up so that I could be let out in the morning, and the lady was very happy to do so, but I still felt bad about disturbing her.

The location was great , room very clean and all facilities working , TV system for English speakers not great but it was very central and good value for money, staff very helpful

Lack of free tea and coffee facilities

Super nice and friendly personell! Recommended me where to eat, get drinks and what to do in Schwerin. Good value for money. Since I stayed there just for one night (business trip) it was fine.

Had a room on the 6th floor but unfortunately the Wi-Fi didn’t work up there, had to go to the lobby to work from there. It‘s a 2000s hotel vibe but it‘s ok.
