Bento Inn Munich Messe

Big room, comfy bed, great internet, very warm temperature (which during the winter was a plus), nice location for traveling by car- close to the highway, very clean, nice staff, huge and not expensive parking

No electric kettle in the room - this was very disapoiting.

The hotel is beautiful, beautifully designed. Location is great if you're just staying on the go, as did we (we didn't go to the city center).

The parking. It was completely full and we needed to find it somewhere else. The receptionist didn't know the ramp wasn't working and also didn't know anything about the street parking (bonus info - they "don't care, as it is not theirs"). We parked on the street in front, but before we could even find the spot, we had to circle around. Another part that stressed us out was the police writing tickets for bad parking in the same street, so we spent some time on our window looking if the same thing was to happen to us.

Amazing value for the money - very modern, clean, huge room, all facilities you might need and even a shop! 10 mins on foot from metro.

The only minus was that the cleaning staff came into my room at 9am by mistake and scared the hell out of me while I was in the shower. But that happens :)

One aspect where Bento Inn truly shines is its cleanliness. The hotel is impeccably maintained and our room was spotless. I noticed that the towels in our room were changed daily. Although the hotel location lacks nearby coffee bars or restorants, the hotel has a mini shop inside where you can grab a cup of coffee or beer. At evening there were always some people in front of the hotel enjoying a beer. While this may not be everyone's cup of tea, it did create a bit of a social atmosphere for guests seeking a laid-back evening. Overall, this hotel managed to offer a pleasant and comfortable stay during my visit to the Bavarian capital.

The hotel's proximity to the city center is not ideal. The hotel location is situated in Zone 1. You will need to walk for about 8-10 minutes to reach the nearest Ubahn station where you can take the U2 to the city center, the ride is approximately 20 minutes. There are no bars or restorants near the hotel.

Breakfast was good! We spent a lot of time in the CBD of Munich, the Location was a bit out of the way but we managed between Uber affiliates and Trains/ Busses

With the weather being so hot, a room Fan should be standard. A room fan was issued on request - I did not know you could request one so the first night was a terrible sleep, especially after travelling so far. I had to make a request for Toilet Paper to be topped up 08:00 of morning 2 - then a follow up request 3 hours later as it had still not been done, I used the general facilities near the Eatery in the mean time. Toilet paper was delivered that afternoon. I was rather annoyed, especially since it is an essential item, the feedback was that room service will top up when they go through to clean the room. We requested a recommendation for a light meal, the place recommended by staff was closed for the week.

Good location with easy access to local metro & bus services. Very comfortable bed and house keeping daily. The best hotel I've ever stayed at in terms of value for money.

The one very minor thing that would have made my stay even better would have been if my room had air conditioning. It was a very hot week in Munich which meant my room was quite sticky/humid at night which made it harder to sleep. I know nobody can control the weather but in summer the option of air conditioning would have made the room almost perfect. Apart from that everything about this hotel was amazing.

The hotel is relatively cheap and can be a good choice for a few nights. The design is quite interesting and the buffet breakfast had a great selection of food.

The location is not so good if you are interested in the city center as you need to travel for about 30 minutes to get there. The room was ok but there should be more space in the bathroom to place things like clothes. The only shelf was really tiny, a stool or similar (pushed under the sink as the bathroom is small) would have been helpful. The receptionist didn't speak English, which made check-in a bit more difficult as it should've been. Leaving the garage was tricky due to the lack of instructions at the door.

Good size room and excellent value for Munich. Staff on reception were ultra polite and professional.

I guess the thing that surprised me was the location of the hotel. I knew it was far out but had a metro station nearby . But I didn't know it was in the red light district. I know that kind of thing is looked upon differently in Germany but I still find it a bit icky. And I noticed a few people staying there were using it like a resort hotel for porn. So I certainly wouldn't recommend for families.

The room was very comfortable, great beds and bathroom with all the necessary amenities (shampoo, towels etc). It was pretty good value for money and it was pretty quiet so you could get a good night's sleep.

The people at the reception weren't really explanatory at giving directions so if you go there I'd suggest you ask for pretty specific info. For example they ordered a taxi for us but they never told us it was already out waiting for us and we waited at the lobby till the taxi decided to leave :( Also there was no aircondition in the room so it was kinda hot during the day.

Great breakfast, you can park on the street in front of the building or on nearby streets, it's fine for the day but I wouldn't be so trustful to leave my car there for the night, luckily the hotel has private parking (paid 5 euro for every drive-in but at least you don't need to worry about your car's safety). The location is definitely in the suburbs but it's close to the highway and you can get to the city centre in around 20mins by car. The room was small, but sufficient, I also asked for two single beds, which was fulfilled. The toilet was in a separate space than the shower which I also appreciated.

It's probably unfortunate timing, but the other people who stayed at the hotel were very noisy. Not only was there an organised group who happened to eat breakfast at the same time, who created a lot of noise, but also at night when some other, smaller group arrived, they stood by the main entrance (close to our windows) and were so loud, that it woke me up from my sleep and I heard them even after closing the window. No AC in the room as well, although I can look past that. The tables in the dining room were also really close to each other, which was a bit discomforting; especially once more people decided to sit by the same table behind me, pulling more chairs and not only blocking the way for everyone but also touching my own chair by it.
