Really interesting place to stay. Liked the lounges on the ground floor as a place to hang out and have a coffee or tea. The bar was nice when it wasn't busy with great views over the city. The room was very nice but way too hot even without the heating on we had to have the window open the whole time and take off the duvet!

The bar was so busy on Saturday night that we couldn't get a drink which was a shame as it was my husband's birthday and couldn't make use of a free drinks voucher either (a nice system if you don't want your room cleaned is that you get a voucher but we couldn't use it).

Unusual building, converted water tower, beautifully designed inside with very comfortable and well designed bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The reception staff were really excellent. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. Unfortunately the heating didn’t work in our room so a heater was instantly provided for us,and when the engineers were unable to fix it the next day we were offered an alternative room which we declined as the room was warm enough with the heater. So we were offered a free drink in the bar, and the next evening a beautiful bottle of wine and delicious macarons were delivered to our room by way of apology. Totally unnecessary but very thoughtful and very much appreciated. Many thanks to reception for looking after us.

The rooftop bar is amazing but could do with more seating

The location is good, 10 min to the conference on Taxi and 10 min walking to the center of the city. Very comfortable beds. Nice roof bar with amazing view, breakfast is good as well.

I stayed in the room that had a door to another room. Whenever somebody was talking in the adjacent room, I could hear everything as if it were in my own room. It was a disaster when a drunk couple returned from a party at 3 am; I had to go to the reception. Fortunately, they managed to calm them down. Additionally, my plans changed, and I had to leave one day earlier. I had requested compensation for this change two months in advance. However, the management wasn't helpful at all; their response was essentially, 'You have a non-refundable booking, f#$k off, what else you want'. But in situations like this, it would have been nice to be offered a room upgrade or at least a drink. Unfortunately, they offered nothing

The hotel itself is very special. The old water supply tower is built as a very solid brick building and was converted to a hotel. It has a lot of quirks when it comes to the hallways, but that’s part of the charm. Rooms were clean and spacious. The roof top bar was outstanding and is worth a visit even when you’re not staying at the hotel.

Check in and check out were slow. They could use some more staff or a bit more “speed”. The location itself is a bit off the beaten path. Nothing noteworthy is in walking distance really. However that it to be expected with a hotel located in an old water supply tower.

The room was very cool, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and reacted quickly to replace the television that was broken when we arrived.

The rooftop bar was useless, the took 45 min to bring cocktail with half the ingredients missing, never had the wine we ordered, half the food menu was unavailable. We visited twice and the poor experience was the Sam both times. The bar let the hotel down. all the streets around the hotel up to Neumarkt had hundreds of drug addicts and homeless people taking drugs openly and defalcating in the street. It was unpleasant to walk anywhere and we had to take taxis to avoid the disgust.

Hotel is a an old beautifully converted water tower. For any architecture lovers its a great place to stay. Rooms are very well presented with free wifi throughout. Breakfast was great with a good selection of options from hot, cold & continental. The bar on top was great too.

Hard not to like anything. The only let down was one of the days my room wasn't cleaned but this wasnt too much of an issue in the grand scheme of things.

A very unique experience with Hilton. Staff are very friendly and courteous, with smile on their faces. A fruit plate and two bottles of spring water delivered to the room were a great thought. It certainly added delight to my pleasant stay. Besides, the great room configuration is more like a studio. There is a good-sized dressing area between the entrance and the bedroom, whereas most hotel rooms have just straight corridors, instead.

Wouldn't want queue for the slow lift at busy checkout time

Staff were exceptional, both at the reception and at breakfast where we were shown around all of the options including à la carte! The room was wonderful (we got an upgrade to a duplex room), quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was the very best ever - sitting outside in the winter garden, with super efficient and friendly staff serving fresh and delicious food. The hotel itself is a marvel, the architecture is amazing and everything oozes style and class, with art in every corner. Bonus points for the stress-free approach to the minibar and the lounge area - all drinks complementary. Parking underneath the hotel is very comfortable - but as extra.

One minor (!) point is that the bathroom had only very small tubes of soap, one each of body wash, shampoo, conditioner. For two persons on a hot day, that was a bit on the low end of the spectrum :-)

As a trouble sleeper I particularly appreciated comfortable pillows, blankets and bed linen, not so many hotels can satisfy my requirements to bedding. Thank you. Good location, friendly and helpful staff, nice building design. The facility has a nice garden and several quiet and cozy rooms to have tea/coffee and enjoy it in a comfortable armchair with a view. Definitely the hotel of my choice in Cologne. P.S. Wooden room key-card also adds to the experience❤️

Amazing property and great staff. Without being racial want to say that its rare to have this kind of hospitality in German hotels. There are multiple corners and rooms for business meetings.

Nothing really. Only three suggestions 1) Tell everyone that the water and the soda in the room is free--one hesitates to consume the same. 2) They have a beautiful breakfast place which just works for a few hours, keep it open at-least for dinner if not lunch 3) Tell the people who are checking in that they can use the multiple business centres available free of cost. 4) Some more food please especially in the night for a tired business traveller
