Hotel Goldener Falke

The Hotel is situated directly in the old city and tourist attractions,you can just walk to groceries, shops, spa & wellness massage , churches, Nacker River , Restos & Bars and more. Hotel Rooms, Beds , Food is defintely worth the Prices. Clean, Friendly staffs , they provide food request for people with allergies and most specially they returned my Wedding Ring that I left in the Hotel,they initiated to send mail, thank you so much Hotel Goldenerfalke , you can trust the Staffs , Its Safe. Book this Hotel ! No Regrets!

The discount card in the Parking P12 did not work.

Speaking about the location, the hotel you can find right in the historical centre which was especially comfortable for me as I was supposed to spend two days with my friend and see all of the cultural sights. My room was absoletely clean, pretty nice (which I, personally, always apreciate) and comfortably organised. The breakfast you will have in the restaurant that belongs to the hotel and is located on the main floor. It was a typical buffet one, when you can try everything that you like (coffee machine they have). What was important, they had some sweet stuff for those who is not used to eat eggs and bacon.

I can't really say that there is something to improve as I stayed only for two days.

Great location in old Town with 2 parking garages nearby. Our room was quiet, great beds, great water pressure, great location. Because we arrived much later than planned, we didn't get to see much but wish we had been there a little longer to see more. Heidelberg looked very pretty. The hotel staff were very pleasant and the room was very comfortable and quiet even though it was facing the square. Breakfast was included with our stay and it had a good selection and fresh breads and rolls. I would definitely stay there again. Very nice.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. My only complaint was that because of flight and rental car delays we arrived MUCH later than expected so didn't get to see much but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

Great hotel in the heart of Heidelberg, all sights can be reached easily by foot. We had a room towards the square so it was a bit noisy in the evening but nothing that bothered us personally and the view was worth it. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious, clean and really nice. Oh and breakfast was great! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book the same hotel again. As the parking close to the hotel was full at the time we arrived, we parked at "Parkhaus Universitäts Bibliothek" - very tight parking spots and it's a bit of walk to the hotel (10min), however all along the pedestrian street in Heidelberg. The hotel does have a deal with a parking close by though but I do not remember the name - might be working checking with them before you arrive.

Great location in the middle of the town. Nice hosts. A perfect room if it had airconditioning.

In the summer we always book airconditioned rooms. We saw it had airconditioning on Booking.com but on arrival we learned it only has airconditioning on the upper floor. The room we had had a fan but this wont cool the room. Opening the windows at night isnt an option either because this hotel is in the middle of town with Outdoor eaters and drinkers.

The location of the hotel is fantastic: right on the main street and 10 min away from the castle. The staff was friendly and very efficient. The room had a great city view. The restaurant was convenient and offered German food as well as excellent vegan dishes. The breakfast buffet was diverse and very well presented.

No parking right on location, but the hotel offers a discount at the closest parking lot.

Outstanding location for old-town Heidelberg and easy access to the castle. If you park at P12 or P13, it's a very short walk (and ask for a parking reduction ticket when you check-in at the hotel...it's a similar-looking ticket to the one you get when you enter the parking garage. When you pay for parking, insert your original ticket--then the reduction ticket; saved us 8 Euro from the original 18 Euro cost for one night). Excellent breakfast. Rooms are all above the restaurant, but there is an elevator. Many rooms have a nice view of the square

The location could not be any better. It is right on the main street. The room was overlooking the plaza with a view of the church and the hillside. There were wedding ceremonies right underneath my window on the fourth floor. One minute walk to the castle gondola and 3 minutes walk to the famous bridge. The room was large with comfortable beds. The breakfast was good and the onsite restaurant was excellent.

The shower was small.

Loved the location. The hotel itself made our short stay in Heidelberg perfect. The breakfast was also awesome and had something for all of us. We travelled with our 7 year old grandson and he had a blast with us. It was our 42nd Anniversary so everything was perfect for a memorable road trip. Would highly recommend your hotel to anyone.

This place is situated in the heart of the old town with easy access to the main attractions. The breakfast was good with a reasonable variety.

Our room was acceptable, except for the fact that it was on the fourth floor and the lift only went up to the third floor. Moving in and out with our luggage was a bit of a constrain.
