Hotel Via Regia - VIAs-Hotels

The reception, cleaning and restaurant staff were all very attentive, very helpful and were very warm. The room was very clean, the linens top-notch. The room was fairly big for the price category. The bathroom was spotless. This is a basic hotel that provides you real value for your money. It's not located dead center, but not that so far removed from all the activity either. The parking lot gate opened with your room card key, providing a secure place for our car at night.

The shower area had one of those super "tiny" glass barrier that invariably failed to prevent water from going onto the entire bathroom floor. I slipped twice because the wet bathroom floor, and we had to use all the extra towels to dry the floor off. Can't the hotel just install a wider glass door, or better yet a shower curtain?

In the US, Best Westerns are kinda trashy. This location was excellent. A solid 3 star hotel. A pleasant surprise.

Couldn't sit in the dining room. They have this excellent comfortable place to sit and it's inaccessible except for breakfast. I thought it rather rude that I was expected to sit outside in the heat instead of inside in this comfortable space. I'd hesitate to return largely because of this.

The staff were lovely. The decor in the room and all other areas was also lovely. A modern bathroom. Kettle with tea/coffee in the room. A very good breakfast for a reasonable price. A comfortable bed. Very close to the train station and not too far to walk to the main town area. We really enjoyed our short stay here.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We arrived at the hotel outside the check-in hours but the late check-in procedure was well communicated to us. It was clear and very easy to follow. Our room was spacious. Our beds and pillows were super comfy. The kids, particularly, enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good with decent choices. The staff was very friendly. We highly recommend this place.

The driveway going to the parking lot is very narrow. Although should not be a problem for small cars. For big family cars (like ours), it would require an experienced driver (like my husband) to go through the driveway without scratching the car. Other than that, there is really nothing to complain about.

excellent staff - my arrival was delayed over 4 hours and staff stayed half an our to greet me. room with kettle tea coffee (often not available in mainland Europe) sram led egg with freshly cooked bacon snd sausages for breakfast in addition to usual ‘continental breakfast’

location was fine for me as close to station. it is a long walk from centre.

Great welcome from the receptionist., along with advice on where I could find dinner (it was a Sunday so the hotel's restaurant was closed). Good location, about 5 minutes walk from the main railway station (South Entrance). Quiet peaceful surroundings. Room was clean and well-equipped.

Really nice room, clean and spaciuos. The lady at the restaurant was extremely welcoming, provided us with an exceptional service. Very good breakfast! We loved the stay

It’s the first hotel which made a comment that we didn’t mention we’re travelling with a 5-month old baby (even though we requested a cot at the booking 🤷🏼‍♂️)

breakfast was very good, service was extraordinary, easy parking. We were able to chek in into the room earllier than expected.

There is no fridge in the room, there was a mess up about the hour of our arrival, but it was sorted out quickly.

Clean and cozy room, comfortable bed, all classic amenities in the room. Good food in the hotel restaurant and farelly priced as in any other place we saw in old town. Parking available in the back yard and accessible through the elevator for only simbolic charge. We were travelling with a dog, the first hotel were we found treats, bowl and a blanket waiting in the room for our friend.

Quiet and clean if a little anonymous in character. Pleasant breakfast terrace.

It's the other side of the train station, so it's a 20 min walk to the old town. Cramped breakfast serving area, which is far from ideal in covid times.
