Excellent breakfast, welcoming and helpful reception staff, short walk to station and to town, I do like grand nineteenth century hotels. A michelin restaurant next door (sadly closed for winter) and a Bavarian beer house in the basement.

No hot water one morning and erratic heating, rooms could do with freshening up. A little scruffy around the edges. However would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about this stay. The hotel is from a different age, like all good hotels, and they make the best of it. I also loved the location a quick walk from the station. A tip if you come by public transport is to use the entrance from the car park, you save yourself the ridiculous, luxuriously carpeted staircase Another tip if you are in Eisenach; Do the Bach Haus.

Beautiful older historic building. Our room was on the smaller side but was very comfortable. Beds were nice and spotlessly clean. Bathroom was decent size with tub/ shower combo. Breakfast was plentiful and in a lovely room. Location was perfect for sightseeing.

Room was a bit dark. No safe in the room.

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel - I have not stayed at many boutique hotels but my stay here was excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast area. I enjoyed the bar area in the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was not too busy on the nights that I stayed, and I liked this.

No coffee was available in my room - apparently hotel policy.

The hotel is close to the citycenter and to the railwaystation as well. Room was calm and clean. Very good breakfast. The enterieur (lobby,reception) is very "historic". Extremly good value for money.

The hotel is located very close to the train station and it's just a convenient 5 minute walk from it. I received room 101 on the first floor by the stairs. It was very clean and stylish. The breakfast was exceptional. I recommend the hotel for staying.

Nice breakfast spread and comfortable beds. The staff was kind and accomodating.

The room’s bathroom was maybe lacking, as this is an older hotel, but not horrible. Apart from that, the room was clean and spacious.

It is a beautiful hotel in an old town of Eisenach. It is close to the station and city center. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I feel this hotel is the best choice for stay in Eisenach.

Good staff support in all areas. Excellent dinners in the restaurant. Above average breakfasts.

Front stairs are a negative. No way to avoid lugging suitcases up steep stairs just to get to the main floor.

Stuff was super helpful and friendly. Arranged a special early check out for me (7:30 am_) and the night before managed to make a nice hot chocolate at 11 pm. Were really trying their best to do all they can. The room for the bar looks good and cozy, great to use for the evening. Locating is perfect, in the near are all the restaurants and train station in 3 min away

the window view from the 1st floor of my room was facing another building (see the photo). however, at least, was not as load as it could have been at night. furniture in the room is clean, but clearly quite old
