Best Western Plus Hotel Plaisance

Situated at the top of the town centre, the hotel was very handy for shopping, cafes and restaurants etc. However, it was very quiet and restful. Our room was spacious with a good sized en suite and large comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and staff extremely helpful. On site free parking a bonus. Overall, lived up to the ‘plus’ with a few little extras and general level of comfort. Would definitely stay here again. We were travelling further south so for us, it was a ‘stop over’ but would have gladly stayed for a few days.

Only negative would be the lack of dark curtains or shutters in the room. The drapes were more like voiles so kept no light out at all.

We were given 2 rooms as requested with accessible facilities and close to the lift. Breakfast had good choices of hot and cold food. Coffee and the bar downstairs a nice meeting point for our group of 6. The shutters on the windows provide privacy and protection from the sun. The wait staff were knowledgeable about the local wine. The Ayers Rock pub next door serves a nice lunch!

The breakfast hot food wasn't always hot and the bacon wasn't cooked enough for my liking.

Pleasant breakfast staff. Good range of breakfast food. Good proximity of parking. Clean and comfortable room.

Height of bath would be difficult for older people to climb in and out of. Space for moving in toilet cubicle would be difficult for elderly or people with mobility problems.

Location is good, breakfast was okay. Staff were fantastic especially Constance and Caroline.

The room air conditioning could have been cooler.

Good breakfast with plenty of choice, nice large lounge downstairs, coffee and fruit always available. We had two adjoining rooms which worked well.

Car park is too small, only space for about 10 cars.

Super clean room, nice furnishing , friendly and helpful staff at receptjon offered double bed instead of twin, they also serve you breakfast in order to minimize contact, nice gestures to provide peace of mind amid covid

No drapes / window blinds make it difficult to sleep due to city lights + after sunrise, so it is worth bringing a sleep mask. Also, pillows are very soft, both of our necks hurt the next morning - however if you ask the reception, you might get a better one, i was too tired to take the fuss

Lovely quiet hotel, very nicely furnished. Great family room which was actually two doubles with its own front door. Very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Would highly recommend. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

There were some problems with locking our doors but the reception staff came straight up and fixed it when we asked.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Staff were helping allowing me to use the gym slightly earlier than normal

More fruit and selection of nuts/seeds available at breakfast. The available food was not very healthy

Good quality hotel for an overnight stop. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the onsite car park was a welcome bonus. The location is at the end of the main high st with bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Room was nice and comfortable. Milk provided for tea on request. Location was convenient and plenty of eating options in Villeneuve

View was over a building site but not a problem.
