ibis Lyon Carre De Soie

Great location when visiting a concert at the Groupama stadium. Secure car parking. Next to metro taking you directly to the city center. Great and friendly staff.

No parking for all rooms so you have the chance that the parking is full when the hotel is fully booked, and the next ‘secure’ parking (q-park) is 20 min walk away. Lots of broken car windows nearby so I would not advice to park on the street.

the staff was very pleasant and helpful, with a very good English. the room was clean , with good heating during the winter. good WIFI, hot water in the shower .

when going to eat breakfast around 09:30 the food was a bit stale and not as fresh as early morning around 06:30. the breakfast didn't have any vegetables at all. but it was still good.

Very clean and comfortable. The bar is amazing and the staff incredibly friendly. Decoration is fantastic and very relaxing lobby. It’s a nice hotel to stay if you are on your way back from Spain.

Beside the shopping mall, the surrounding is horrible. Nothing open to have a quick bite unless you spend a lot of money for an hamburger. We walked few blocks to find something open to have a quick dinner and the neighborhood was a bit scary.

It's a good Ibis. Many public transport option across the street, so very easy to go to the city center. Many restaurants in walking distance. We felt secure walking. The room nice and clean, the same for the bathroom. Parking good in terms of space, closed and secure, not free (but a priority with a moto).

Cocktail of the day was not available :) Ibis are very standardized, so nothing was bad. Free parking would be amazing :)

We were in Lyon for a concert at the Groupama Stadium, for which the Carre de Soie was perfectly placed with exceptional transport to the venue. The transport into the centre of Lyon was also excellent. The hotel is the usual business style. The room was clean and comfortable with virtually no traffic or tram noise. Good breakfast.

Everything was fabulous. The staff, the room, the parking underground secure, the breakfast magnificent. The location was perfect for us with access to train, bus and metro right across the street only 18 minutes to the city. Highly recommend.

Clean, bright, spacious rooms, very nice staff, good breakfast and great value for money. on site parking.

The smoke alarm went off in the night and we had to go down to the foyer so unfortunately that spoiled our sleep and we don’t know what the reason was. There was also no hot water in the morning. Walls also thin so we were disturbed by people above.

It was clean, cozy and comfortable. The customer service representative at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had various offers to choose from. I really appreciated the stay there.

We had to wait to get breakfast, there was a queue, first time we ever encountered this at a hotel. Maybe the location of the buffet is not strategical? I am not sure.

The hotel and rooms were impeccably clean and looked newly remodeled. We were happy to have parking available in the secure garage under the hotel. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The hotel lobby/dining decor was really fun and pretty!

No coffee maker or mini fridge in the room.
