Parking right outside the hotel. Room was clean with good quality wifi. Easy to find outside town but nice and quiet. I contacted the hotel as was held up and not going to arrive before reception closed at 10. Sebastian was super helpful and even waited until after his shift finished to make sure I could get in the room

Stayed one night to play golf the next day on Golf de Perigueux. Ideal located for that. Simple hotel, fir for purpose.
Breakfast consists mainly of pre packed ingredients, although the bread and croissant were fresh.

Good price easy parking , pleasant female morning staff
Not a very pleasant male staff to 'greet' us, rather surly and unwelcoming. Then, when we had no WiFi signal in our room, we were told that if we didn't like it, we could leave and go somewhere else as the hotel was full. He eventually got us another room with a signal. I suspect he had suddenly realised how rude he had been. After a long tiring drive, it's nice to get a smile and a welcome, but this fell far short of that. When we left in the morning, the ladies doing the breakfast and reception seemed really friendly and pleasant.

The fact that it was very clean. The surroundings were also quiet although a little fat out from the city.
The receptionist seemed upset when we arrived 15min before the scheduled check-in at 12.00. He said we were too early so I said we were 15min early but we could wait in the reception area without a problem. We were given the room 5minn later so there was no need to be rude if we were going to be given the room 5min later. Fortunately, we were there for one night as a stop on our way home. The receptionist was nicer at the following interactions so the initial approach was puzzling.
