Logis Le Relais De Pouilly

It was exceptionally clean, staff were professional, polite and knowledgeable about the area.

Breakfast was a little chaotic. We arrived to find the only cleared table was for 6 people and when we attempted to sit down were ushered to a table for 2 which was then cleared for us. By the time we arrived for breakfast, supplies were running low; meat, cheese, fruit, bread etc. which were not replenished. I think the problem was that the lady on reception was organising breakfast as well as checking people out and accepting payments etc. Maybe another member of staff would make things smoother?!

Excellent room , spacious with patio doors to small terrace and garden. The bathroom had a bath which is getting increasingly rare. Aircon worked well.Lovely spacious grounds and walks for dogs - but it was too hot to walk when I was there!

Need a few more electric points. I had to dive under the dressing table and unplug the TV to charge my phone. Really nice terrace with table and chairs but it faced directly south and so was too hot to use in the sun in the afternoon and evening (mid June), A sunshade would be very useful.

We love a room with direct access to garden whilst travelling with our dogs. Our second stay here and this feature in particular makes this logis a perfect stopping off spot for us. All other features are very good and staff very helpful with our limited French.

No particular areas come to mind. Perhaps a little more hot food at breakfast. It was a bit crowded in breakfast room (coach part) buffet area was rather small in this situation, but staff managed well in restocking items.

Great size room and very comfortable bed. Air conditioning was welcome as it was hot. My dog was with me so having the doors onto the garden was fabulous. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meal was fabulous and great value for money. Oh and the Pouilly Fume Machot….well…. couldn’t stop drinking it!

Nothing in particular. I guess the rooms are a little ‘80’s’ but I quite liked that as it is a refreshing change from the bland identikit rooms you get today!

We stayed here when heading south and found it really nice so booked it for when heading home. Had an upstairs room this time with a different layout but still enjoyed the room and we would happily return next year when we head to southern France again.

The outside of the hotel isn't amazing but it's still ok.

Location was peaceful and the rooms were clean with all the facilities you need. Dinner was good with plenty of choice as was the breakfast. Plenty of free parking space.

The only negative observation was that there was nothing around the hotel so it would require a drive to reach the nearest village.

Good stop-off location for us. Close to motorway and town. Clean, nice rooms with en suite and balcony over garden, restaurant, plenty of parking, good service, good breakfast incl eggs, excellent staff

Proximity to the motorway cuts both ways but not too intrusive for rooms on garden side.

The rooms are large and have everything a weary traveller needs - good bathroom, fridge, kettle etc. The rooms face the garden so, even though the Logis is quite close to the motorway, there is no noise. The restaurant serves good food and there is a spacious car park which is ideal for our 7m long van. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was very clean.

Easy motel stay with truly excellent local produce menu in the restaurant. Second stay, delicious dinner once again. Breakfast typical buffet style. Good value for money.

Removed from Pouilly village, not walkable sadly but otherwise fine for an overnighter.

Restaurant was excellent. Room was fine and it was loverly to have a balcony which you could sit on overlooking the garden. Considering the hotel is right by a motorway it was very quiet.

Would prefer a shower rather than a bath with a shower
