Hôtel De La Loge

I came to Hotel de la Loge after staying in a place without air conditioning on the hottest nights in France. This was a welcome relief. The area is lovely. The staff are friendly. And they looked after my bike in the foyer and even though no one was on the front desk overnight there was someone there keeping an eye on things which was very reassuring.

The shower pressure was not as strong as I’d like but that wasn’t a major issue

We only stayed in Perpignan for one night. The Hotel de la Loge was the perfect place for us. Right down town with shops and restaurants all around. At the same time the room was very quiet. The bedroom and bathroom are really spacious and extremely clean. The young man at reception couldn't have been nicer and the breakfast was very good value and plentiful. We totally recommend.

The bedroom was a bit dark and maybe the walls could be painted a light colour instead of dark grey

Perfect location and staff exceptionally friendly. Room was superior so especially enjoyed having the balconies and large bathroom.

We understand checkin is from 3pm so flying in from London and arriving early morning it would have been good to be able to leave our suit cases at reception instead of pulling them about for hours ! Otherwise I can’t fault our stay.

A small, charming old hotel in the old Town center, near many of the historic attractions. It is in the walking area with many restaurants and bars nearby. A note of caution, the quiet and charm of being in the heart of the walking district also means that you have to pay for parking and carry your luggage several blocks to get to the hotel. And as you would expect in an old hotel, there are stairs to negotiate with your luggage.

staff were superb. friendly, responsive, excellent communication skills very good facilities and exceptionally clean central location in historic area -walking distance from railway station quick to understand our requirements and quick to respond.

Booking.com’s delays meant we didn’t get the hotel access code in time. We are very sure the delay was not the fault of the hotel staff.

Great central location, allocated a very large room with balcony

Appreciated the room check in times stated, but it was unclear that the hotel would be 'closed' between 12 noon - 3pm, luckily we arrived just after 12noon and there was still cleaning personnel available to accept our luggage and we did not have to carry our bags for 3hours.

Centrally located in the old part of town which made it easy to get out and about. Fantastic old building with modern facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly from front of house to cleaners.

No problem with anything about the property but the ad is a misleading about parking. The property is advertised with parking so I went ahead and booked but when I enquired about reserving a space I was told that it was public parking a little way from the property. This was not a problem for me but could be for someone less active.

The location is superb and our room had balconies overlooking the town hall.

The bathroom decor left something to be desired. A glass screen would be better than a shower curtain. They could do with ‘do not disturb’ signs, bigger bath towels and mugs for tea of coffee, with local biscuits on offer. The breakfast could do with a vegan alternative.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Very clean. Croissants small but delicious! Attentive waiter. Wine €3 a glass very nice too. Reception areas clean and spacious

The noise! All night long outside our open window voices of youngsters hanging around. Bed too small for two adults. Rooms were adequate but not upto date modern but to be expected in location.

Stayed here numerous times, love the location and the quirkiness of the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty to choose from.

The bed in our room wasn't very comfortable, it was too low and it was a very small double, however this will not deter us from booking this hotel again.
