Quality Hotel Pau Centre Bosquet

I rarely comment on hotels but felt that this one more than lived up to its name. The staff on reception were multilingual and most welcoming and the other staff we encountered were all friendly and courteous. We arrived before usual check in time but no problem using the car park. Sensible recommendations on places nearby to eat - not overpriced. As regards the room I had booked a twin as we usually find hotel beds are smaller than we have at home but actually we had a room with two small doubles. One small gripe in the room was that the toilet and bathroom were separate. Breakfast was €14 (which I initially thought a bit pricey) but turned out to be an excellent buffet selection and worth the price.

Not so much a dislike, more of an observation. The hotel itself is close to the town centre but its immediate surroundings are a bit drab. The epicentre of activity was a bit further away than expected, albeit still within easy walking distance.

An excellent hotel secured at short notice. Really good value. Very clean and spacious. Room was great quality and breakfast available on site was excellent too. Convenient and secure car parking was a bonus for a location close to the centre of Pau. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and professional at all times. Special mention must go to Jessica, the receptionist who greeted us and then worked so hard during our stay to make it a really enjoyable experience. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she was warm and welcoming all the time.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The hotel is situated in the very centre of Pau and has a very convenient free private parking. The staff was very kind and helpful, and we could speak Spanish to them. They helped us in every way making our stay with our dog more pleasant, and enjoyable. Good breakfast with fresh products. Our room (triple) was situated in a separated building next to the main building. AC worked perfect, even with a temperature outside of 35°C. Good beds and pillows.

We had a balcony in our room, but situated above the parking area, so not such a great view. We didn't use it (it was too hot to stay there).

Parking extra secure and free! Room perfect for a family of 5. Didn’t take breakfast. Super clean and comfortable. Ease of access, no hassle book in and coming and going. Very close to town centre.

We asked for the free bed for our daughter. Hotel stated not available and charged 15€ for this. Not a lot I know and agreed to pay this when hotel explained the reason ie non availability. However seems the reason of not available is not convincing. First the extra bed was available upon payment, second it transpires that the extra bed is a chair bed (sofa bed style) that is already in the room. Picky I know but worth comment! Have a great stay.

Kind greetings upon arrival in our spoken language which is English. Upgraded to huge room without asking, to accommodate our bedding preferences. Splendid secure parking. Fairly easy to locate this downtown property. Nice breakfast with nice staff. I would stay here again.

I would have liked a walk in shower. Bathtubs without anti slip mats are a real hazard especially for our age group. It should be expected to have English language channels available on tv.

From the moment we were welcomed to the hotel by Alexander and Jessica in Reception our entire visit was hassle-free. All the staff were professional, friendly and welcoming. Cecile who oversaw the smooth-running of Breakfast deserves special mention. She was so 'on the ball' and efficient it was a pleasure to watch her in action. We enjoyed our visit enough to book for an extra night. Secure parking was important for us and this was available on-site. Alexander gave us some great restaurant recommendations which were perfect for us.

The room, parking arrangements, breakfast and staff were all excellent - I would recommend the hotel as a very good location from which to see Pau, which is a lovely city.

The hotel is situated at a point where the neighbourhood becomes a little less up-market. It was not a problem and, for example, the Musee Des Beaux Arts is almost across the road and which is wonderful.

It was just at the bottom of the Main Street in the town - very convenient for strolling around the town. The room was comfortable and supplied everything we required. The staff were pleasant to deal with. Above ground secure parking - which we availed of prior to booking in. Excellent value for money

Breakfast pricey for what’s on offer.

Lovely spacious room with a hallway, separate toilet, well equipped bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free, secure parking on the site a great advantage and the breakfast was excellent too. Walkable to the central area very easily

The 200 yards or so around the hotel weren’t great. There wasn’t anything else - it was the best hotel of our trip

The room was clean, it had coffee and tea making facilities. They had their own secure car parking, breakfast was good. Well located and dog friendly. Staff both at the reception and dining area were really helpful.

There were road works in front of the hotel on the day we were staying so we had to leave the hotel early . This was not their fault though.
