Hotel Saint Paul

We were assigned 3 rooms to accommodate our group. The room my family and I were assigned was perfect. It overlooked the garden and had big French doors opening onto a little balcony. We had a quintessentially French experience, which left us with such great holiday memories. The room was a double with a loft room for the 2 kids. Plenty of space to make the most of the summer holiday. The heated pool entertained the kids endlessly. We were sorry not to have had the time to take advantage of the hotel's wellness offers of a massage, the facilities looked lovely. The restaurant and Sebastian were holiday-makers...both made such a positive difference to our experience of the hotel and the island. The hotel had a lovely big garden scattered with sun loungers, tables and chairs...and since the restaurant does not do a lunch service we were allowed to haul our market goodies back from the market and enjoy a French picnic under the shade of the willow tree. One of the groups favourite past times between beach hopping and island cycling.

I booked 3 rooms. 2 were alongside the road, and the occupants experienced some noise from surrounding neighbours' parties (we were there over Bastille Day celebrations). In saying that the rooms were lovely, and the family size 'room' was two interconnecting (by double french doors) double rooms with plenty of space for everyone. The one thing that was probably missing was a drying rack or more hanging hooks in the bathroom for beach towels. Otherwise no complaints. Would love to stay there again.

The charming hotel, the beautiful area it is in, the great beaches in walking distance, the pool (especially when the weather is not so good), the restaurant L’Anse rouge in the evening for dinner (awesome food and super friendly chef focusing on local products), the amazing breakfast buffet but the best of it all: the employees!! So so friendly and warm and always there n trying to help and playing around with the kids. We felt like home there with three kids! We had the perfect week there.

Absolutely nothing.

The exceptional cleanliness of the hotel and the covered heated pool; the friendliness of the staff and the food served at breakfast and dinner which was first-class. The location was perfect for us and our golden retriever couldn't believe his luck once he discovered that the Atlantic was just a few hundred yards away through a delightful pine forest.

The mosquitoes, which were only to be expected given its location. Next time we will be prepared.

Nice hotel, superb location, just 5 mins walk through a wooded lane to the beach. Super helpful staff. They went the extra mile and more to help with transport as we had not hired a car (our fault - you really need a car here). Buffet breakfast was excellent, and a lovely tree-shaded patio at the back of the hotel to sit and enjoy it. The pool is superb. So 5* for everything really. We will definitely stay there again when we next go to Noirmoutier.

it seemed to me like old French in a good way . the hotel was beautifully decorated …the pool was spotless and so refreshing …the breakfasts were a real mix from cooked eggs and bacon to lots of good Bread and croissant…jams , yogurt , fruits, cheese, cereals, and more . The garden was a haven to sit in and enjoy a glass or two or there was a bar area as well . We loved our stay . It was close to some very beautiful beaches . the beds were comfy .We hired bicycles which is common in the area and we would recommend. cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience .

charming heritage property with family rooms, in a very pretty part of noirmoutier. exceptional breakfast, very pleasant staff, would definitely return.

a little far to walk into the centre of noirmoutier for dinner, and slightly unreliable WiFi, slightly tricky parking, but wonderful apart from that.

It was nice staying at this hotel. The staff were welcoming, smiling and highly professional. We were not familiar with the region and the staff kindly answered all the questions we had. Plus, they were very reactive always trying to help. We spoke to three female employees and they were all fantastic.

I had issues using the internet but it finally worked after a few hours. It can get noisy (we could hear other guests talking from their rooms)

It’s friendly and small with a very nice pool, a short walk through forested roads to the beach.

I was sorry they’d moved the breakfast from the main gardens to a smaller courtyard. That had been a highlight.

Perfect location and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was large and very clean, changing the towels after just one night was a treat not expecting all in all it was perfect. Look

The heated pool is great. Staff were extremely helpful. They have a deal with bike hire company where bikes are delivered and picked up - that was great!
