Auberge de Savoie

Located in the middle of Moutiers, this hotel has been renovated well. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The furniture on the 3rd floor is all in solid pine. Breakfast is quite substantial including cooked food, excellent coffee and a variety of pastries. It is only about 25 minutes from a great car park at Le Praz which has direct access to the ski lift up to Courchevel 1850.

Parking is in the street and it can be difficult to find a space mid-afternoon.

The staff were very helpful with booking a Taxi for our next destination. The Lady who speaks perfect English in the reception was so lovely and helpful, she even told us to let any one else in the reception to call her at home if we needed help while she was not on duty, Luckily we did not need that but we appreciated the gesture (REAL SAVOIE HOSPITALITY).

Nothing, it served its purpose well, which was to enjoy few Foliage walks before heading to Val Thorens to ski in the early season. The breakfast was expensive compared to what I expected to pay , IT WAS EURO 50 FOR 4 BREAKFASTS, That is for 2 days for two people.

Booked on booking.com so rate we paid was good value. Room was large , quiet, comfortable looking over square and everything worked well...heater tv lights quality shampoo, towels etc furniture in room very dark but I think that's the French for you. Breakfast, although quite expensive was very nice and nicely set out...Good orange coffee bread cooked breakfast nice happy amenable staff. Also liked having a bath in bathroom....essential if you're ski-ing....which, sadly we were not. Didn't eat in restaurant...menu looked quite expensive...WiFi good

Always a welcoming and comfortable stay. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. I requested a room with a bath via booking.com but on my arrival I found that my room had a shower. The hotel manager immediately relocated me to a room with a bath. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with many different options. Delicious evening meal in the Auberge; good French food and nice atmosphere; always well frequented by the locals.

The hotel is in the center of Moutier. Very friendly staff. I loved it. Very clean and comfortable beds. I liked the restaurant.

The hotel is a bit shabby. Carpets in the rooms need extra cleaning. They were not dirty or smth. It is just the old stains gave me not a good feeling. We booked three rooms and one of them was too dark.

We had a very good time staying in this hotel, could not hear neighbours. We stayed in a suit which was very spacious and had everything we need. There is a microwave downstairs for everybody's use. Hotel is right in the city center and the city has everything you may require - eating places, pharmacy and so on.

Nothing at all. Maybe extra coffee capsules for longer stays.

Really comfortable. Generous and well equipped rooms. Friendly welcome and room ready before usual check in time (which was really welcome). Perfect for an overnight before getting the early train to Paris. Very luxurious after Val Thorens shoe box!

great location. Val d’Isere suite was lovely and big. slept a family of 5 very comfortably.

side door and staircase were a bit old and dated. clear instructions on parking availability and restrictions would have been useful.

Lovely place and very polite, welcoming and happy staff. Great breakfast.

There were a couple of light switches not working in our room and the shower hose was fractured and leaking. But we would return.

good location, big room, allowed with dogs, nice staff. Very nice that let us stay a bit longer in the room of the check out day- was very convenient.
