Mamie Megève

My husband, my dog Lila and I are so very grateful for your amazing service. Our room was spacious for everything we needed: for cooking, we had an equipped kitchen, for arranging all of our ski clothes, we had a huge closet area and also another closet for stocking all the skis and boots. A lovely balcony with a river across the street who helped me sleep at night with that calming sound. All the ladies in the front desk and the manager couldn't be more helpful. The bed was very comfortable to rest. The treatment they gave to my dog was outstanding. See you next year for sure! Thank you very much Mamie Team.

We liked everything about this place. Lovely decor. Big rooms. Amazing view from the balcony. Tasty breakfast and snacks served in the bar. Friendly staff. Good location to the Megeve centre around a 15-minute walk.

No spa facilities

The location was superb and the shuttle bus running constantly into town (5 mins) and to the ski area (5 mins). The snack bar area was extremely cosy and welcoming and we liked hanging out there. The view from the hotel is stunning.

The decor is quirky with very dark tartan design on the walls. I personally didn't love the decor but the overall feel of the place was great.

Attractive fun looking hotel as you drive up to reception / chic and funky check - in reception area / friendly welcome by staff - good check in and show- round of the rooms . Comfy bed . Well appointed kitchenette . Nice bunk bed set up in family sized room. Good value for money in megeve for a family .

The hotel is a tale of two halves - chic/funky/cool reception area and then rooms look like they are situated in a cinema/bowling alley waiting area/underground car park . I liked the look of the rooms , Tartan wallpaper and floor etc, but they are way too dark . You can’t see what you are doing in them and are scrabbling for light all the time. In contrast to the attractive reception area the hotel corridors are horrible and the lights Keep going off. One of my kids was quite frightened of the exiting the room to the dark corridor . Shame as this is a new hotel full of promise and the room and communal corridor areas could have been designed to look so much better. Breakfast too expensive for what is offered , although baked goods were delicious.

The only point to improve is the frequency of the free shuttle. 30 min to get a shuttle back from the ski slopes with the kids is too long at the end of a long day skying. Their sister hotel l’Arboisie has 2 minivan rather than 1 at Mamie and it makes all the difference. Also, even though we were told that l’Arboisie shuttle could take us, they refused on several occasions even though their minivan wasn’t full…

I arrived late after an evenings work and discovered that the Mamie does not have a reception I could check in at. I had to check in at the neighbouring hotel but even then I discovered that they had no access to the Mamie's systems and as such the Mamie had no record of my check in the next morning. I had to use the key of a guest who didn't show up. I had to move rooms the next day due to this. It wasn't ideal at all after a full days work.

Very stylish and cosy hotel, the room was great, enough space and facilities for a couple with our baby boy, and an amazing view of Megeve. The staff was kind and helpful, all in all a very comfortable and original experience.

The hotel was a bit tricky to find, as there were no signs to indicate the location, but otherwise nothing else to say.

The view is of the hotel and the room I took is perfect, and the employees are so friendly and helpful. The room is really good, especially for families, and there is a small kitchen and a fridge in the room

Hotel was very nice and clean. We had a family room, which was great since it had separate sleeping and living areas. Fully functional kitchen (minus oven which is normal for a ski holiday rental). Parking garage was fine, I was worried after reading the reviews, but we had no trouble parking our car. Breakfast was great, lots of croissants and cakes to choose from (though not a hot breakfast, which is maybe why other reviewers complained). The staff was excellent and very helpful.
