Cheap but not that cheap!
Location was pretty disgusting on a semi derelict industrial estate. Very noisy as was very hot and next to a dual carriageway. No fan was supplied and so the window had to be opened.

Checked in then went straight out for food before going into rooms. When we returned around 10pm the room key cards didn't work. Reception was closed. Rang the hotel numerous times, no reply, just an ans phone msg. We were about to leave - very weary after travelling- when we spotted an 'on call' number on the door- though it appeared to be an emergency number, alongside the number for the fire service. We rang anyway, the reception lady answered. I explained the situation, she asked for my name. She said 'no'. when I gave it to her. She took some time before she would accept who we were. She eventually took our key cards through a very small opening in the reception blind - we felt like a security risk! She returned them and we went to our rooms. Very basic and cramped but we just wanted to sleep. Not a pleasant experience, felt like a down and out area.
