The Originals City - Hôtel Saint-Martial, Limoges Centre

I recently toured France, Spain & Portugal on my motorcycle. On the basis of reasonable security for my bike, I selected each of my accommodation stops with this in mind and I certainly found it here with the on-site garage. As I had pre-booked the Hotel and parking I was fully aware that there was an additional charge @ 5EUR for the use of the secure garage on site. The Hotel itself was very comfortable, very clean and the large bed was great. I thought the room was great. The location was a short distance from the City Centre and easily walkable. The Hotel Receptionists was very welcoming, and very helpful and they spoke English which was a bonus. The Continental Breakfast was inclusive of the room price, although a limited selection, it was very nice and set you up for the day. I would consider the Saint Martial Hotel to be good value for money and great for an overnight stay.

Beautiful atmospheric location very French . Took advice and went to petite comptoir for dinner - not cheap and very meat based but what a burger! Best ever anywhere on earth. America eat your heart out

Wouldn't say anything was negative. I write travel books so you could have a copy of each of my books in evry room rather like the Gideons Bible but I guess I'm nitpicking see mutchmotorcyclebooks.com - they're not about motorcycles but journeys made on them- emphasis on humour would attach pics but can't see how to via your page

The hotel was extremely well managed by welcoming staff who made us very comfortable . The rooms were spotless and serviced each day with changes of towels and drink facilities. The decor was fresh and detailed with attention to detail and guest security. A lovely continental breakfast buffet was served each day, often with homemade cakes. Guests can buy cold drinks and have access to tea snd coffee facilities in rooms and the dining area. We would have no hesitation in booking again.

Parking outside was straight forward but does have a metered fee. The hotel has a large garage which guests can book at a fee.

Elodie greeted us and was extremely helpful and a delight. The room was a good size for 2 and the bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. The included continental breakfast had a good variety including fruit, yogurts and muesli, boiled eggs and pastries. The reserved hotel parking was booked out but we were able to easily find paid street parking right outside the hotel (it was a Wednesday afternoon and free 7pm to 9am). We would definitely recommend this Hotel.

nothing - good value for the price point

We received an upgrade to a very pleasant room. The breakfast was very good . The secure parking was excellant. The short walk into the centre was very enjoyable,

I would have thought that payment to Book.com on the 18th February 2023 of 161.74 Euros would have been presented to the hotel for deduction from the final bill. Please confirm that Booking.com will be presenting a credit for 161.74 Euros to my Mastercard account. Thank you

Nice hotel close to the city center and on walking distance to most of touristic places. There is no restaurant close to the hotel, but the staff was willing to direct us to a very good (both food and price) restaurant on walking distance

We could not park teh car in a safe was close to the hotel. The shopping mall was closing from 20 in the evening till 10 in the morning, Leaving the only opportunity a open parking space on the street.

Excellent hotel with brilliant customer service. Staff all very helpful. Breakfast amazing and rooms with all the essentials. Great location between the train/ bus station and the town. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to Limoges one day.

Air con would be useful but we did have a very effective powerful fan in the room which helped in the hot weather.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Beds were comfy and we all had a great sleep. The location was great everything was accessible by foot. Breakfast was good, the coffee was particularly nice .The shower was lovely and I like that the toilet was separate from the shower room. My favourite part of our room was the electric blinds, I like a really dark room to sleep in and these blinds ensured a well deserved lie in was possible.

The hotel was in a good location at walking distance from Limoges train station. Staff at reception and in breakfast lounge were very friendly and helpful. Very clean room and bathroom with great shower

The main issue was the noise from the main road when windows open due to very warm and humid weather and no air-conditioning. Fans must be provided atleast during summer months

We arrived later than check-in time, which was not a problem, our key was waiting for us in an envelope and instructions were given beforehand. We had to park on the street, but were able to find a parking spot close by. Staff was very friendly and very helpful!

Would've liked to have a fridge on the room or a vending machine in the hotel.
