Breakfast was amazing! Homemade sweets, fantastic products locally sourced, and very generous! I loved in particular their homemade jams and the bread. Fresh fruits and amazing butter. And some cream with lemon which is to die for. The room is spacious and the property has parking in the garden. The entire estate seems to be taken from a postcard, in a little village in the middle of vineyards. We did enjoy our stay and we will be back soon, this time with a driver so we can tour the vineyards! We came back with a box of wine because of limited luggage space, I would strongly recommend a visit to any of the 12 wine producers in the town as they have a fantastic wine choice. Couteaux du Layon is a great wine. The hosts are the most kind I ever met. They made us feel home, they were very helpful and they even did make restaurant reservations in a place that only speaks French (I do speak a terrible French...) where we had a magnificent dinner. They gave us recommendations about where to go to buy good wine, and directions to reach several sightseeing spots. Unfortunately we were there for 2 nights for a wedding, so we didn't manage to do much, but we will be back!

Exceptional hosts, all 5 of them, with the star of the show being the petit garçon extradinaire! Vérène & Maxime are wonderful people who go above and beyond to welcome and accommodate your visit. Beautiful breakfast, thank you, Vérène! A big thank you for helping us with out little boy who was unwell after we checked out!

Amazing breakfast, great hosts, really lovely spot - they even went out of their way to prepare a gluten free breakfast which was very much appreciated!
Be aware there’s limited food options in the village - make sure to pack snacks or be prepared to drive for your dinner.

Fantastic, welcoming hosts. Very, very charming. Clean, big Rooms. We were traveling for work during the curfew that was in place in France and so the hosts cooked for us fantastic meals at a nominal cost
if you are a light sleeper, the street below can bother you. But it is a quiet area, so not many cars pass.

Wonderful cooked breakfast the first I’ve ever had in France in 30 years. The couple couldn’t do enough for us -also a first ! They prepared us some supper without problems also and charged a very reasonable price for it . In fact I paid them more as they deserved the extra .
