After 2 months of travelling through Europe by bicycle, this place stays in my memory with such joy. The location is peaceful, the swimming pool was welcoming, the decor and comfort of my room was superb and the breakfast couldnt have been better. Chris the host takes great care to ensure everything is perfect including home made croissants and jams. The kitchen is spotlessly clean and very well equipped so I felt no need to cycle into town for dinner - it was a pleasure to cook and dine, sitting in the evening sun, looking out over the olive grove, enjoying fresh food and wine I had purchased earlier in the day at a local Provencal market. After 2 days, my body, mind and spirit felt restored - I departed with a feeling of health, wellbeing and gratitude.

I would have valued a table and chair within my room and the WiFi was a bit patchy.

We hade a wonderful 4-days at this beautiful place. Just outside of Draguignan, you do need a car! The swimming pool, private parking and nicely decorated clean room with great facilities are fine! But two things stand out: the personal attentive attitude of the host/owner Christian and the possibility for all guests of the 5 rooms to use the joined fully equiped kitchen during day and evening. It was a very big bonus for us and such a nice idea!

Our stay was perfect, maybe a suggestion for breakfast: consider to add at some days eggs, cheese or ham? Not all guests like marmelade. Add some driving suggestions or a map of the location to find the entrance of the Bastide more easily at arrival. And provide some information (a list) on supermarkets and provence-markets in the central kitchen-area.

Very nice location, in the hill, a good place for daytrips to the beaches and cities such as Saint Tropez, Cannes and even Monaco. The rooms were large, clean and nicely decorated. Goods beds and super views in the the morning. The breakfast was a super experience !

Friendly & accommodating host, we felt at home here. Wonderful breakfast outdoors near the pool with views of the countryside. Newly refurbished rooms with large en-suite bathroom. Very clean. Self catering facilities and Private parking. Great value for money.

Very nice gite .situated between Lorgue and draginuain.both lovely towns with good resturants..as it was April we didnt go in the lovely pool or si outside the gite but all facilities were in place.just stayed 2 nights and spent all day sightseeing and evenings in local resturants.but chris makes a nice breakfast and is good to talk to.

The homemade breakfast was delicious and the host was super friendly. He recommended us different delicious restaurants and booked the table for us. It was really quiet area, the view was really beautiful and everything was very close.

The service of the host is exceptional. Both christian and his wife were really nice. The breakfast was very good. We felt like kings!
