Great communication before check-in, which was arranged for an early check-in. Easy location to cycle to from the bike track Good value restaurant next door and huge supermarket opposite. Good value accommodation and breakfast.

The Atena has replied to previous complaints that it is standard practice in France. But we have been cycling for 7 weeks and this is the ONLY place to charge extra for a 14h00 check-in. We were charged 40% extra to have the room 'early'. Everywhere else has made arrangements for free, understanding that it's not ideal to be cycling in the afternoons of 38°C. That is French hospitality!

Great location. We were at a wedding at Chateau Lagorce. About 10 mins away, straight road. Very easy to get to. Hotel was basic but very comfortable. Aircon, shower and tv were perfect. Bed was very comfortable. All clean. Supermarket/petrol station/McDonalds just over the road. Beautiful Creon town also 5 mins drive away.

Nothing, maybe a kettle and fridge.

Receptionist guy was fantastic and really there to help and make you feel welcome. It is a beautifull ride from the highway into the chateau and wine fields. The bistro next door the same really helpfull people and great food. Although we only stayed for one night as we were passing through and rooms are simple and a bit outdated they were clean and tidy.

The room could be a little bit bigger but ala that is France :)

Basic rooms, bed was good, air con in room and blinds made room pitch black. All set for great night sleep! Shower was powerful. Had everything I needed.

It’s a 2 star hotel but better than expected. A bar/lounge area would’ve been good, but there is a little bistro next door, a big table out the front and they do have a vending machine

Secure private parking. Small but comfortable rooms. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. A couple of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Beer and wine available to purchase from reception. Carrefour supermarket 5 minute walk, including Mcdonalds and petrol station. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Simple and efficient. I booked it for a couple of days of hiding from the heat in Bordeaux and to do some work.

Air conditioning in my room broke down and they gave me a fan rather than moved me to another room.

Breakfast was good. Clean area could go outside if you wanted to. Very nice

To be honest everything was fine. Perhaps there could be an information sheet about local taxi services and transport in the area. And perhaps yea and coffee facilities in your room.

Julien (owner) went far and beyond to make our stay positive and was very supportive when we had a family emergency. We traveled with 4 children and Julien was one of the best hosts we’ve encountered on our bike tour. His house is pristine clean and modern inside, it was very pleasant to stay there.

Room was small but included all we needed. Restaurant next door was great value. They have a Tesla destination charger. Good bike storage, tools, bike pump

The hotel has nice clean rooms and good helpful reception. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes to go to the Bordeaux city center by car. There are many vineyards close to the hotel, which are worth to visit.
