Les Sables Blancs

View was fantastic. Room was good. Being able to lay in bed and see the sea was wonderful.Location was great for the beach . Great having a restaurant bar attached. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Shower temperature and pressure was wonderful.

Fridge did not keep food cold. Shower needs a lower holder as water just sprays to wall. We ordered a double bed and unfortunately we're given twin beds pushed together. They come apart at night. Parking is tricky when weather nice as people visiting the beach use the parking.

The hotel is situated on the beach with stunning views from our terrace and the restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful and everything was clean. It is a 20 minute walk from the main town which has many areas of historic interest. There is also a lovely coastal path for walks.

The only things that could be improved on was more choice on the children's menu in the restaurant. There were only two options (both meat) and our child only liked one which meant some evenings going out and trying to find somewhere else when we would have been happy just to stay in and relax in the hotel by the beach.

The setting was magnificent, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant, bar and terraces stunning. We stayed in 3 different rooms: on our arrival date we were in room 1, a deluxe room, which was much too small. The next day, we were moved for 5 nights to the Glenan suite, a large apartment one floor up with a large living area, a nice bedroom with a king-size bed, a decent main bath, and a small second bedroom with 2 twin beds and a small bath. The suite had an enormous private terrace. Except for the tub and shower floors, which were very slick, the suite is one of the best hotel rooms I’ve experienced in Europe. We spent our last 2 nights in room 3, a junior suite on the ground floor. It was smaller than I like, but acceptable for a couple of nights. The footing in all three tubs, and the shower in the Glenan suite, were treacherously slick. The hotel really needs to correct that condition before a guest slips and is seriously injured.

Bathtub and shower floors were dangerously slippery.

Good breakfast with crepes in addition to the usual croissants and pains au chocolat. The dinner menu was good but didn’t change during the week we stayed there. But the crowning glory of the hotel is the location, looking directly over the sands and on to the sea. The huge windows in the dining room enable you to imagine that you are out at sea . And every bedroom has a sea view and a sitting-out area ranging from a small balcony to a huge terrace. The staff are charmed, many with good English which they are keen to improve.

No shower panel- or even curtains - in the bathrooms and no grab rails so you climb in and out of the bath somewhat uneasily and land on a flooded floor.

Superb location on the beach. Very comfortable room with great resturant .

It was outside the town and you needed to drive in

The location was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to access town center and the rest of Brittany.

We wish there was at least one operable window. The bath/shower setup was challenging.

Location was superb and the staff helpful and friendly. The food was excellent both in the restaurant and the bar.

Lack of information in the room - nowhere were times of meals displayed , no local info either. The bathroom was adequate but needed updating and repairing. The floor covering by the door was lifting up. The wine in the restaurant is over priced.

Beautiful room with an awesome view right on the beach. Most of the staff friendly.

Some of the staff I found a little unfriendly, maybe she had a bad day. Getting the bill took a little too long.

Bizarrely the toilet roll holder is locked and very difficult to get at. Bring your own.
