Les Balcons du Savoy

Very beautiful location and view! Ski lifts near the entrance to hotel which is nice. About a 10 minute walk to the town, where there are several shops and restaurants! Staff was mostly helpful and kind.

Breakfast was bread and butter, definitely dissatisfied in that area of the hotel. Parking garage is nice, however we had a bubble on top of our sedan (average size car) and it would not fit into the garage - very low ceilings so something to be aware of! Expensive stay for 3 nights, but I think that is normal for the area.

The personnel was very nice and helpful. View from the balcony was amazing and the swimming pool + sauna turned out to be nice relaxation spots after a whole day of sightseeing. Great location (close to the center but a bit on the outskirts which helped avoid the noise and the traffic) allowed for easy trips to key attractions.

Some of the furniture could use refurbishing, especially the sofa/pull out bed in the living room made a bad first impression and at first even seemed to be broken. It wasn't very comfortable to sleep on, either. The heater in front of the balcony was dirty. Wi-Fi was terribly slow and prone to disconnecting. You can pay extra to have a faster (and more reliable?) Wi-Fi which was the first time I saw something like this and which is frankly unacceptable for an apartment of this standard (and price).

check-in is very late (17:00) and check-out early. we stayed only one night and wanted to settle our things before going off into Chamonix. we arrived at 14:00 and could go in at at 15:15. that was a bit stressful.

Breakfast. very very limited selection. Stale bread and croissants.

you have all you need in the apartment! Balcony and view is amazing, kitchen is well equipped including dishwasher, supermarket is 5 mins away, highly recommended, we’ll come back.

1. the parking is fine to enter, but difficult to exit, the corner before the exit is too small and sudden, no space to turn the car. 2. there’s no tissue in the appartement (or we didn’t find it)

Wonderful views from the balcony 👏 👌. You can enjoy changing mountains views and observe the glacier while eating dinner with your family. Big hotel, but felt quiet and family friendly. Hotel is placed few minutes walk from the city center and the Bevert cable car. Paragliders were landing right in front of our balcony. Small indoor swimingpools were perfect attraction for our kids when the weathe. Sauna was also available. Kitchen was well equipped. Baby cot & chair was ready for our little one. Staff was very helpful and welcoming 🙏 🙂 Undeground arking place provided & assigned to the room 🤩

The apartment was spacious with a good sized balcony with the most amazing view of the mountains. The kitchen area was compact but had everything you needed. Cupboard and wardrobe space was plentiful. Bed was very comfy. Location was excellent and only a short walk into the beautiful town of Chamonix. Laundry facilities on-site which was helpful as we were travelling on to Switzerland after our stay. Staff were helpful and accommodating.

this property is simply outstanding we have visited Chamonix every year for the UTMB and stayed at many apartments and this is simply the best we have ever stayed at . everything was super clean well equipped and I could sit on the balcony all da sit on the balcony all day soaking up the amazing view forever . games room was really well equipped we stayed in one night and had a few family games of pool air hockey and table tennis . spa and pool really welcome after a day out running on the mountains . we did arrive three hours early and they managed to have our room ready so we could get on with our adventures. this is a great spot for absolutely everything a highlight was paragliding and landing right outside of the apartments . I would highly recommend this hotel . thank you we will be back we were made to feel so welcome .

Exceptional location. Montmartre center is walkable with lots of restaurants and shops. Lots of activity in the near by grassland. People landing their parachutes to sheep and ponies grazing to dogs walking. The Mer De Glacé station was pretty close too. The staff, especially Cecil, was very courteous. There was another young lady who was a tad cocky. The rooms were great and the kitchenette was very useful. Of course the view of the Alps from the balcony was breathtaking. There were some great facilities like indoor pools and sauna but we couldn’t use them as we spent mostly out.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable, well heated, clean and well equipped. Home from home. Breakfast was good, and as you expect in France. We also like the sauna.

I was injured on this trip which meant I stayed home in the apartment while family and friends skied. I felt very comfortable and the wifi was excellent (which helped a lot) The only negative was that there is no restaurant other than breakfast and no food for sale on site. This wasn’t to bd except for Sunday - as many of the shops shut. So be be more prepared.
