First Inn Hotel Blois

The First Inn is strategically located near Blois. It's a basic hotel: the rooms are bare bones and the setting is prozaic, between different office buildings. But then... The beds are excellent, the rooms are super clean and have airco. The place is also silent. What we particularly likes is that the staff really try to do something with the place: they have a bee hive nearby, they keep 2 chicken, they provide for late-night snacks, all breakfast tables have their own little plant on it... You can rent outdoor games like pétanque for a few euros, but also electric bikes. The ample parking space is protected during the night.

Breakfast is extremely basic (but the coffee is excellent). Breakfast would also be nicer if there was a bit more greenery around the terrace, e.g. some trees, to give a sense of privacy.

Good size room, well equipped, in a quiet are, with free parking. A/C is working fine and a big plus in a hot day. I did not had the breakfast - but that's only because I'm not a big fan of french-style breakfast, otherwise, as I seen it + the price, I'd say is maybe a good idea to have it included (also because you'll not be able to find alternatives around).

Hotel is out of town, in an industrial area. You'll need car to go in the town. If you're not a big fan of french-style breakfast hotels are including , then is not easy to find alternatives in the area.

The hotel was perfect for our stop-and-go stay. It is next to the highway and the code system allows you arriving at any time. The room was clean, spacious enough and equipped with the basic furniture for a short stay. The bed was large and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

If any complaint, the price was a bit too high for us considering that we just stopped for sleeping. Being a small family of 3 people we had to occupy two double rooms which made our stay somehow expensive. Also, I would suggest to equip the rooms with a small fridge to help the traveller to conserve his/her food items over night.

Very good budget hotel. Clean. Excellent, friendly and efficient staff.

The lights from the WC show into the bed section (no separation), so room is slightly lit at night when someone goes to the wc. Room design is strange (not the staff's fault, of course), but still functional. The cappuccino (general coffee machine) has chocolate in it. Why?!?

This was a perfect place for us to stop over for the night with our one year old daughter (who particularly enjoyed the giant teddy bear). The breakfast was delicious, the facilities were clean and the staff were lovely. As we were so pleased, we re-booked this hotel for our stopover when returning home.

Staff helped us very good, friendly, room was good , very clean, every thing we needed was there. breakfast was also very good. parking was safe and behind fences. you can come in all day and night. there was a restaurant nearby

Great and clean hotel with the basic necessities. It is well located near Blois and it is of great value.

The doors are very thin and if other clients are noisy when getting into their rooms, you definitely hear them coming in and it can wake you up. If your room is in the direction of the road, there is small background noise which is okay.

Easy access, good parking and nice staff

Could have been a little more variety at breakfast. The restaurant Boucher next door is a modern steak burger place. Like most hotels all over Europe it suffers from lack of staff and was not good though I appreciated the discount given from staying at the hotel

Small, but clean room, which was a little more comfortable than others from the same category in France. We felt secure and quiet during the night!

It was difficult to find them on GPS. Keep offering exclusively sweet breakfast which is not convenient to every foreigner visiting the place. It was probably not a good idea to not have a wall/door between the bathroom (though not the toilet) and the living/sleeping area.

The room was small but bright and perfectly adequate for a 1 night stopover. A very comfortable bed and a good shower. The hotel is situated in a business park on the outskirts of town which makes it easy to get to without having to drive through the city. Several restaurants nearby
