Beautiful facilities, full kitchen to use, nice pool and outdoor table, games, sheep in the backyard, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious, not far from major wine destinations, wine to buy on site from the family that owns the Chateau, clean

Be prepared for no air conditioning in the warmer months (yet still comfortable for sleeping even when it is quite warm) and I would suggest renting cars to visit nearby towns

This place was truly the highlight of our entire entire trip! We got a tour around town in an adorable 2CV, enjoyed wine tasting, walking around the large grounds, explored the castle.... just too many things to count! This was an experience far beyond what we expected. Extremely worth the value. This isn't just an overnight stay, it's an experience. I highly recommend at least 2-3 night stay if not longer. Disconnect and enjoy the country surrounded by vineyards.

Nothing really to complain about, maybe weaker wifi but when you're in a big stone castle, it's a little hard to expect great wifi. Worked great out by the pool and in the main living areas.

Everything was amazing! The location, the pool, the garden and off course the staff! We had the superior room with kitchenette, which was really big and beautiful :-)

Unfortunately, due to circumstances, it wasn't possible to eat dinner at the hotel. Breakfast is good, basic, could use a little more bread toppings.

It was a beautiful domain with a fantastic pool and a great view. They are very friendly and are always ready to help you. The breakfast was great and you had a nice view over the garden from the breakfast room. Tip: the ride with the 2CV is highly recommended!

Breakfast was good.getting to local restaurantz was a problem , no taxi service but the owner drove us to and from some nice restaurants in Blaye.I was not happy driving and drinking and not happy dining and not drinking.The owner solved the problem

Beautiful big room, equipped with kitchen. Nice large garden (almost a park) with pool. Of course my daughter loved to stay in an actual castle and will have a long lasting memory!

I would suggest some quiet music in the breakfast area to make guests feel more at ease :)

It was a wonderful stay, beautiful room, beautiful place; great surroundings and garden. Breakfast was perfect, delicious selection of breads, pastries and jams. Dog friendly. Close to the citadel. All was wonderful and we have loved it!

The perfect getaway for a tranquil, relaxing weekend. The chateau is everything you'd expect it to be with lots of history. The chateau also has a private chapel. They also have excellent wines. Highly recommended.

Very nice host, he gave a tour and told about the history of the hotel. He also gave a perfect advise for a restaurant in Blaye. The hotel is still in renovation ( 3th floor) but gave no inconvinience at all.

Estelle was an excellent host and we very much enjoyed our wine tasting lesson
