Hôtel Le Cyrano Bergerac

Amazing stay. Great & quiet location, easy to find. Convenient booking and simple instructions to gain card to access hotel room out of hrs (when no real person on reception) Room absolutely gorgeous, modern & minimalistic deco, spotless bed, bathroom with shower with shampoo & shower gel, extremely clean kettle, good quality coffee machine with coffee capsules and sugar, complementary biscuits. TV, superb lighting, wardrobe, AC, extra table, desc with touching lamp, cute bedside table, tissues, electric blind operated by switching from inside. Parking with plenty of space. We got lucky to get parking right opposite our room. Breakfast room - STUNNING, breakfast variety great!!! Menu available between 11:00 - 21:00 - good option. Pets friendly and all this for bargain price of £63 + €10.90 for breakfast pp. I would give them 10 stars if I could xxx

My only suggestion would be pillows in my room, one pillow was great the other one was quite hard and uncomfortable to sleep on it.

cleanliness

When I reported a faulty doorknob in the bathroom, which caused my wife to be stuck in there for ten minutes or more, the desk brushed me off: it's the heat, the doors are old, etc. This was outrageous. But I did not explode because we were going to stay there for 4 nights. We never closed the bathroom door. Not fun. But everything else was fine. The woman who brushed me off should be reprimanded. And those doors should be fixed.

Our room was very clean. It was cleaned every day with fresh new towels. The breakfast was very good. The front of the hotel was very nice, tastefully decorated. It looked new. The room facilities were basic but clean. If you want a good location and a good breakfast and somewhere to just rest your head this is great! The staff were very nice and very helpful. It was 8 minutes to the centre of Bergerac. 10mins to the airport.

The staff were exceptional. Really friendly and helpful and though my French is not great they all spoke perfect English and were very friendly and accommodating about that. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to visit a beautiful place that also has great surroundings and the most helpful and welcoming staff you could ask for 😀

Parking was secure with a keypad and gate in the parking. I guess this is to deter any drunks who go for a late night Burger King which is next door. Staff very helpful. Was a bit wary when booking about the quietness of the hotel, but these were assuaged. They did a clever thing in the room with a double door and despite being the room next to the road, it was super quiet. Did not do breakfast.

Although there were some reasonable places to eat nearby it was very americanised with fast food and buffet style restaurants so it was a bit limited as we were staying for almost two weeks.

Location was perfect for the airport and you couldn’t hear the traffic noise through the double glazing and shutter. The air conditioning unit could been a bit colder but it did the trick. Can’t beat the value and there are nice eateries in close walking distance. We will certainly use this hotel again.

Great location, no restaurant for evening meal but so many places within a couple of minutes walk. Really handy for airport. Bed comfortable and great shower. Very basic but really good and excellent for the price.

Good value and variety. Excellent Buffet and fresh bread and selection of cereals and meats. Good clean dining area and also attention to detail for cleanliness.

Nothing really. There are building works going on and expa Niions of the site which meant entrance was narrow for two way traffic.

breakfast was fabulous, the room very clean and the steakhouse buffet all you could eat across the car park was great too !!

nothing it was a budget hotel but great for an overnight stop over !
