Appart'City Angouleme

The room was a reasonable size, and there was a kitchen area with a hob, sink and fridge - we were so pleased to have a fridge in the hot weather. The beds were ok but I did find mine a bit hard - but I need a very soft bed and not everyone else would agree! The linen was good. The shower was roomy and the bathroom was very clean, as was the room. We found free parking opposite the hotel. When busy, you may have to wait and watch for a space.

This felt like good quality student accommodation, or a better-class hostel. Definitely a good choice for a city break where you are not spending a lot of time in the room. The apartment was at the bottom of the hill so a good 15 minute walk uphill to the town. As Angouleme is perched on top of a high hill, I can't imagine anywhere else would not have the same incline to climb to get to the town.

The hotel has everything you need for your stay. I liked the fact that there was a door to close the kitchen and bathroom area from the bedroom at night.

There are only a few parking spaces outside the front door, the rest are on waste ground across the road and unlit. The parking is not secured with a gate or barrier. The location isn't great, on a busy road though the room itself was quiet. A 500 metre steep uphill walk to the nearest shops and restaurants.

A nice spacy appartment in a large building with historical roots. The appartment was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. A car-parking place was available. The city centre and monumets are within walking distance.

The Appart'City building is located between two main streets with traffic, so that the appartments are slightly noisy when windows are open.

Modern, clean and very central apartment. Would definately stay again now that we know where to park the car

Check in is only between 1 and 4pm then 8pm-9pm. We arrived at 6.30pm and everything was locked up. It’s impossible to park the car in town. Streets very narrow and got ourselves into a right mess. Finally found parking out of the centre and walked with suitcases for about 15mins.

Very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly. Safe parking and dog friendly.

The. Property was good, but Angoulême was not as we hoped. The hotel was close to the river, there was much rubbish, buildings falling down, and the graffiti was everywhere. Shame.

Same breakfast everyday. I stayed for 5 nights and we had the same items in breakfast on all 5 days. The rooms are not cleaned everyday like other good hotels.

Everything about the hotel was great.

There could have been double sockets by the bed so you can have a lamp on plus charge your phone. Plus same in kitchen so you can make coffee and tea at the same time.

It was a hot day and the apartment was very stuffy. There was a fan but it didn't do much. It was hard to sleep.

Perfect apartment for stay. Easy walk up to town. Clean and comfy. Good little kitchen.

You should include more veg menu in breakfast
