Hilton Marsa Alam Nubian Resort

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights altogether. the room was spacious and comfortable with a good sized terrace, overlooking the gardens pool and we even had a bit of a sea view. the hotel is situated by a fabulous reef and the snorkelling is fantastic. there is a shuttle to get to the beach (it’s only a few minutes walk) and then a few hundred yard walk to access the sea as the sea at beach belonging to the hotel is protected reef. there are 3 restaurants (which you need to book in advance) and the main self service restaurant. there is plenty of choice and the food is very good considering the large numbers of guests they need to cater for.

so many smokers staying in the hotel ! the courtyard waiting area by the spa stank of cigarette smoke as both staff and guests appeared to use this space for smoking.

The snorkeling off the beach was fabulous. The views and sunsets were lovely. The staff was terrific and our room was comfortable, clean and pretty.

There was tons of food but after a day or two, it tasted the same. I could have looked into an alternative to the all inclusive package. I would return to this hotel for the room and the snorkeling

Very zen and serene resort. The staff is incredibly friendly, hard working and clean. They have gone above and beyond to make our stay most enjoyable. Best snoring we have ever done and it's right by the shore. You don't even have to take a boat out or go on an excursion to see the most magnificent corals and colored fish. We even swam right next to a sea turtle and saw an eel, stingrays, puffer fish, and lion fish. The water was so clear with an unimaginable beautiful color that changed depending on the time of day. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip and we are already planning to go back!

Everything was amazing!

The hotel was very nice: the buildings, the rooms and specifically the comon areas including the pools and gardens. The personnel very helpful and nice. Good animation with a friendly and motivated team! It is importnat to mention that due to the coral reef, the access from the beach is forbidden to the sea, which for us was a good news... we are divers and we are in favour of protecting the coral reef. A nearby beach ( 10 min walk from the hotel) offers access to the sea and is an excellent diving and snorkeling spot with a great scuba diving club.

We think that the food , altougth with a big variaty, is not at the same quality as the rest, but once again is nothing to do with the personnnel that is very nice with the clients. Specifically at the beach bar the food is really to be improved at lunch time.

- food quality (cheap and no variety). Not what I expected from Hilton - some of the staff of the hotel were too pushy and annoying. They walk around the pools and try to sell beauty treatments, massages, excursions, etc. It was too much. We just wanted to rest and we were constantly annoyed by them. Furthermore we had to bargain for the non inclusive services of the hotel. I would expect fixed prices in a Hilton hotel. Not transparent. - WIFI : poor connection

very good all inclusive resort- as you would expect it from a Hilton. The house reef is amazing and we appreciate that they hotel tries to help to preserve it by not allowing to enter the sea directly. the private beach area is very nice and clean, service in the whole resort very friendly. big variety of food and drinks as it is an all inclusive resort in the middle of the desert. Best food experience was fresh fish (for a reasonable extra money) in the seafood restaurant, which was really excellent.

The facilities and the staff were outstanding. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. It's a great place for couples and families to have fun.

The food needs a lot of improvement. Was very disappointed that such a nice hotel could not provide good and simple food.

Have to go to the public beach to access the sea

This place has everything you need when looking for a resort to soak in the sun, go snorkeling and diving! The staff is very friendly and is trying very hard to make you feel as comfortable as possible! The facilities are nice and we found almost everything we needed right on site. This is also a great hotel for families. The beach is super close and a diving center just a short walk away with very nice and knowledgeable dive guides and teachers. The house reef was beautiful so this is fantastic if you like snorkeling or diving. You can also do some great excursions. Mohamed, who cleaned our room every day, was one of the nicest people there. He had a little new surprise for us in the room ever day and really put his heart in his work. We loved this! thank you so much! We got a great deal for massages and I highly recommend them. the massage therapists are really, really skilled!

The one thing I found to be desired for was the food. The quality of food is average at most. There is a huge selection of food during lunch and dinner which was nice but you should not have too high expectations of the the quality. Especially the fruit was a disappointment as there was ver few options and it was often overly ripe. The wine and cocktails were simply bad and we did not drink them after a first try. breakfast was a bit boring, to be honest and ever day mostly the same. However, being German we might be spoiled when it comes to breakfast! One thing also missing (in my opinion) is a store that sells aspirin and other over the counter meds as there is nothing around to provide such small necessities and I’d rather not have to see a doctor for a paracetamol.

The beach is amazing, very calm and quiet. The lobby is beautiful, and rooms are spacious. I enjoyed walking inside the hotel as there are many routes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Many swimming pools each cater to different crowd and some with swim up bar.

There are two bars that open at night and all by the lobby, depending on where your room it can be far. The food is ok and can be improved.
