Miss Sophie's New Town & Wellness

We spent three nights at this hotel, and overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient, not to far from the old town if you don't mind walking a bit. Both the hotel and the hostel are nicely decorated. The hostel's social life is not the greatest I have seen, but there are folks hanging out there every night. It's nice that hotel guests can join as well. The highlight is definitely the wellness area, which is a true gem. Very recent, greatly refined and absolutely recommended. There is a sauna (which however doesn't go above 65°, the only negative) and a jacuzzi, as well as comfortable beds and in general really nice spaces.

The biggest negative point is probably the room. We stayed in the 4-bed room in the hotel, and the spaces weren't really high quality. The bunk beds were creaking, there was no wardrobe, not even hangers and little space for luggage. The bathroom was large, but a bit smelly. It basically felt like an hostel room, with limited comforts.

Room was fantastic however, pillows were rather flat and the duvets were two separate singles which I'm not sure would have worked well as a couple? Loved the nespresso machine. Bathrooms could have done with separate shower gel/ shampoo/ condition being a 4 star hotel. Room was overall great and well worth value for more. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The spa was wonderful! Very relaxing and just what I needed on my first night after a long day.

The hot breakfast was very oily and greasy. No pastries on offer which was disappointing and fruit was very limited.

This hotel has everything you need to have an excellent stay in Prague. The location is perfect regarding the city centre because you can get there by a nice walk or taking one of the several trams next to I. P. Pavlova (metro station too). Then, the rooms are cozy and comfy, even offering Netflix TV. The coffee machine and tea pot, simply the best to feel like at home. Breakfast is delicious and varied, offering salty and sweet options to be eating in another lovely atmosphere. But, really, the best part is the staff. All the people working there are welcoming and helpful in terms of solving any doubt or problem. They even have umbrellas to lend in case of rain (our case) and are attentive to any suggestion made. A perfect spot to discover and enjoy this wonderful city.

Absolutely nothing

Thank you all at Sophie's , you were all extremely helpful and kind especially when we needed some medication (Ibuprofen) for my daughter. Room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was very good. All the staff we met were polite and helpful. Great location too. We will be Defiantly be recommending Sophie's to our friends and family. To the owner and manager " You should be very proud of your team at Sophie's "

Just a little disappointed that the Wellness sessions did not go ahead due to it being closed because it had broken down.

Staff- The staff were really friendly. William gave us a map and told us about all the main places to go. He was very helpful. I forgot my adapter for plugs and he gave us one to borrow at no extra cost. Location- it was easy to walk to the centre and so we spent nothing on public transport (apart from going back to the airport). Breakfast- breakfast was nice with an adequate selection of cold foods. The coffee wasn’t the best however. We sat outside in the courtyard to eat it which was beautiful. Private spa- we absolutely loved the private spa which was far better than we had expected! Would highly recommend. Also would recommend going at night last thing. Room - my sister and I got a twin room. It was clean and had nice shower products. They gave us some nice biscuits in the room on arrival. There was a coffee machine and fridge.

Room - It was a bit small however we really weren’t in it much and it didn’t bother us . But the air conditioner kept going on and off at night once it reached its temperature, which was very annoying sound wise. The room was quite hot as well so we needed it on. If you had the window open it was a bit too noisy with traffic.

Totally worth it!We booked a room for 4 days with breakfast and everything was perfect. The room was amazing and very clean. The bed was very comfy.They were cleaning the room every day and they put new towels if we wanted to. The breakfast was tasty and it had a lot of variety of food..Personally we loved the croissants with chocolate and the biscuits. The people who work there are all of them very helpful and kind and gave us information for everything. I kept the best part for the end. We also used the wellness for 90 minutes. It was so perfect that we could stay there for another 2 hours for sure. We are very excited with the whole experience. I would suggest it to anyone who wants to have the best vacations in Prague. Hope to come again one day!! Thank you for everything.

Great hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, kind employees who speak great english, provide nice amenities. Location is convenient, near the metro and within walking distance from many attractions and the old town square. The breakfast os served across the street in their hostel, you have to pay but is a good one

Location is great, close enough to walk to old town and over the river, but in a nice quiet area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and beds comfy. Breakfast is optional, but it's really good and affordable, so would recommend.

The noice from the corridor can be very loud, but it only bothered us once in the early hours of the morning when noisy neighbours came home and made a ruckus.

A small boutique style hotel with 16 bedrooms. All prettily decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was good close to Wenslelas square. Reception staff girls were super friendly. A good breakfast buffet with a great coffee machine. Room facilities.. Netflix, coffee maker, lovely smelling toiletries and the softest towels. Luggage storage on the last day.

All was good. Wish we could have used the spa the last night but was told( a bit abruptly) it was fully booked. Odd it was Feb and hotel was quiet. So we learnt not to leave that as a last minute decision.,and book in advance.

Chic décoration with plants and quirky touches. Adorable terrace outside - when we arrived hot and tired, we were greeted with glasses of water, helped with putting our luggage into secured storage lockers (we arrived a few hours before check-in), and offered assistance with public transport. Room was clean and spacious, with fun snacks and tea service, and evening wellness appointment was ver relaxing. Breakfast was also delicious and included in price!

More time! Wish we’d had time to book 2 nights!
