Hotel Golden Key Prague Castle

The location is in the middle of the historic district. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating Good WiFi Quiet room, with reasonable amount of light as it was facing a rear courtyard Fridge with mini bar in room They respect don't disturb signs and won't hassle to clean the room if you don't want it. Overall I would recommend it.

It's supply and demand, so hotel prices are going to be higher in busy periods like Christmas and new year. Tv had no extra services like Netflix. There are many small supermarkets nearby, but all very expensive just aimed at tourists...avoid them

We found it a very welcoming stay ... the staff were friendly and the place has a pleasant ambience. The location is perfect and quiet at night. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection, including delicious freshly baked goods. We enjoyed a beautiful morning walk at the castle before tourist groups started to arrive. The only small reservation we had was with the lighting in our room. We had only one bedside lamp which didn't give sufficient light, and the overhead light was way too bright. We missed having one other lamp. Apart from that everything was perfect.

Excellent location and a real Prague experience being close to the Castle. Walking distance to most things even though we had a transport pass. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent staff all round but Michelle was our favourite for dealing with the hot water issues of a medieval building and helping us with airport transport. We'll done to everyone and we would highly recommend.

the staff seemed nice and competent. i was not disturbed by any noise.

the bathroom was not clean. the floor, and more disturbingly the toilet seat had not been cleaned.

The well-sized room was facing Nerudova, a relatively lively street on the Castle side. Some of the noise came through the open windows, which we had opened to allowing a flow of air as there is no air conditioning-a fan is made available. Coffee machine in room with a couple of complimentary capsules, which we didn't use. Good bathroom with premium toiletries. Bathrobes provided. Breakfast well-stocked and pleasantly presented. Good coffee machine at breakfast. Ancient building of charm. The steps are not regular, so care to be taken using them.

The hotel is very clean, our room was immaculately clean. The room had very high ceilings, with a beautiful design painted on the wooden beams. The staff were reserved, but courteous and helpful. It was also not too hot inside the room, which is often an issue at hotels. The area is very nice, busy during the day and quiet at night. It feels very safe.

Not a problem, but just to make people aware, the hotel is small and does not have a cafe or bar, and the reception is not open 24 hours. An upgrade to smart TVs that you can cast Netflix etc to would be good whenever the TVs are next replaced.

we stayed at the golden key hotel for 3 days and it was amazing the location excellent the breakfast amazing so much to eat staff always smile and polite very clean room and confortable and reception is the best part of it thanks to Michelle always helping polite smiling if I was her boss I will definitely give her a promotion she really deserve it so thanks again Michelle

Check in procedure very easy and efficient Receptionist friendly , somethings lost in translation! The bedroom and bathroom cleanliness all spotless and our towels changed daily Location was perfect , walking distance to all the restaurants and bars . Hotel has a great location! Everything was self service with one lady clearing and topping up the food but everything available .

With that came a little noise from The street as people walked up the hill to the main attraction Prague castle. We had to have windows open as it was so hot. Breakfast was good but lacking in ripe fruit.

This hotel is everything you can expect from a hotel. Comfy room with the most excellent service from the staff. We had a medical emergencies on our trip and ended up staying in the hotel room for 4 days straight. The staffs were very friendly, super attentive and go above and beyond- especially Ms. Gelina (I’m pretty sure that’s her name), she helped us a LOT. From getting us early checked in, the non stop ice for the feet (we had sprained ankle), even helped us order food online since both of our apps just somehow didn’t work. I’m very grateful that we were in Prague, to be precise in this hotel, when we had the worst time. Thank you very much for all the wonderful experiences Prague and Golden Key Hotel - we definitely will come back.
