Check in at this hotel was by far one of the best ever check-in experiences we have had and superseded many of the 5* hotels we have been to. We had booked a family room but the lovely Ayten on the reception desk had worked out we were travelling with an older teenager and offered us 2 separate double rooms instead at no extra charge which suited us perfectly- thank you Ayten. We were then ushered to the restaurant overlooking the pool and served sparkling wine and given a beautiful platter of fresh fruit to enjoy. The two rooms we were given were opposite each other and both had large double beds and were very clean. As some of the other reviews say, decoration and furnishings are a little tired and shabby in places but if you can look beyond these the rooms are fine. One room ( 109) had an incredibly comfortable bed with plenty of pillows in the room, the other room (108) had an incredibly hard bed and only two pillows. The harder bed was actually very uncomfortable but for two nights we managed. What makes the hotel fabulous is the pool area and the access to the sea/beach. The pool was larger than I anticipated with separate jacuzzi areas and plenty of sun loungers around it. There was no need for a ridiculously early start to claim a sun bed which was a huge bonus! The breakfast food was varied and plentiful and the fresh omelette/pancake station a real bonus for a smaller hotel. The only negative I experienced were other pushy residents who didn't like to join a short queue for this and would rudely walk to the front and get served straight away. The hotel also has a lovely pool bar/restaurant with very reasonably priced food and drink that were of good quality. Overall, a fabulous place for a quiet break and as we live in Cyprus, we will definitely return.

When we first went to our room and opened the mini bar/fridge there was a can of beer in there that was perforated and had leaked over the rest of the fridge. We rang down twice and asked for a cleaner but didn't get one. When I followed this up with a trip to reception, I was told the cleaners had gone home so I had to deal with it myself and clean it all up. The local area has a few nice restaurants ( the one directly next to the hotel was particularly good and well-priced) but there's not much else around that had any life. We didn't want loud and crowded but the two local bars were dead.

Right on the water. Great deck and pool area. Restaurant was fantastic and spectacular breakfast buffet. The absolute best staff of any hotel in recent memory. Will absolutely stay here again.

I and my children had a very good time in Manolya Hotel , the staff very kind , the receptionist Ebru was the very kind best welcome we had ever, best atmosphere with relaxing music in the restaurant and my passion THE SEA just in front of the Sea what a blessed place with blessed people!! I need to mention that the food was very good and the breakfast so rich and tasty included in the price . This place is amazing surrounded by mountains also the sea is just a perfect place very quiet relaxing . I thank you all Manolya staff for your great service and kindness! The hotel staff including Hakan the reception manager and Mehmet Dolmai the hotel owner were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel has superb views of the sea. The swimming pool is enormous and faces the sea which makes for a great view. The canteen serves delicious food, especially the breakfast omelettes which were my favourite. The room we had was spacious, with a double balcony amazing views, large toilet and comfortable beds. The location of the hotel is also prime very close to the city centre Girne. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend others to visit this superb hotel.

This was the first time we had stayed at this Hotel though we have stayed in the area before. The hotel was excellent, spotlessly clean with very friendly and efficient staff. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a beach though there are 3 sets of steps into the sea from the pool deck, these steps could all do with improvement though I think this is in hand as they are still carrying out improvement work which had been delayed by the earthquake in Turley. Will definitely book to stay there again though probably in September as not quite as hot.

The scene from the room is absolutely breathtaking. Panoramic, gorgeous views of the water. We even saw a rainbow! The price is excellent for what you are getting and with a little love that property could shine! I also thought the breakfast was quite diverse and served in a beautiful setting with a lovely staff who are happy to make you and omelette or egg of your choice. The owner was more and friendly and happy to have us visit

Place is a bit run down and the grounds are a bit shoddy. Certainly a great value for the price and the ocean view but it needs some TLC.

I like the position of the hotel. Sea was clear and water is warm. We like the food in hotel, swimming pool and teras are great. Staff were polite and nice.

I realy love animals and around the hotel there are some dogs and they are good with the guests. Ones we saw one dog that pee and poop in the pool, that was realy bad.

Very small shower, door wasn’t closing properly The glass from the balcony balustrade wasn’t cleaned in a very long time Very old elevator so we took the stairs- from one window you could see a lot of rotten woods like old flooring, on one floor some wooden flooring packets were left there for when they will replace the rest, where is the swimming pool area some blue pipes left hanghing out of the concrete … Except for some halloumi nothing traditional at breakfast

Great experience! We stayed there two weeks. Staff was very polite and helpful and assisted with all our requests. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices including local and European options. Beach was great and the sea water was very clean - probably the cleanest we have seen along the coast. The beach was very secluded which made it perfect for kids. Generally really enjoyed our stay and will plan to come back next time we are in Cyprus.

I've been to Manolya before and I will come back! This is a very nice and friendly familyowned hotel with very nice and serviceminded personal. I've recommended this hotel to several friends and they have all loved to stay at Manolya. The location is perfect at the ocean and close to the mountains. There is a great masseur at the hotel. The breakfast is great and they serve sparkling wine! 🥂😍 I like the Lapta-area with several restaurants/bars etc that you can go to. Since I don't drive on the left (wrong) side of the road we took a taxi or the local buses at a very reasonable price.
