The QUBE Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao

Superior rooms were excellent. All amenities and more provided. The room itself easily compares to any 5 star establishment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However, front desk staff should be more conversant in English. Did find difficulty communicating with some staff. Very well located if you are attending an exhibition at the National Exhibition Centre. Some nice restaurants and coffee shops in neighboring buildings. Breakfast was extensive. However, as a Muslim traveler, no halaal options were offered. I met some fellow muslim travelers and all complained. Lobby lounge should open by 7.30am and close by 8.00pm

Surprisingly, as a business hotel, the lobby lounge/bar opens late and closes early. It is not possible to offer suppliers or customers any drinks or snacks, and lights are switched off. Normally, we would squeeze in meetings before breakfast and late afternoon and early evening before dinner. This was embarrassing and should be considered seriously by management.

The room was the best room I've stayed at any property in the last 15 years of business travel. It was like a luxury apartment fully equipped. I totally didn't expect it to be so incredible. Unfortunately due to other commitments I had to cut my stay short and head to Singapore. So I only enjoyed 2 of the 4 nights that I had paid for. Breakfast was perfect, gym was well equipped. Location to the exhibition centre is walking distance and will take about 10 minutes.

The gym is in a strange location, quite exposed to passers by outside the hotel and hotel guests entering the lifts. I prefer gyms with a more private setting when I'm training.

The hotel is on excellent location, if your plan is to visit Exhibition. It really takes 3 minute walk to the entrance area and in terms of the location, this hotel is perfect for that - I think I will return. Hotel is new, as is all inside.

The complete area where hotel is located is new - it is still developing and I think, soon in future will be very lively place to stay. However, at this moment it is still like a new building that has not been occupied. It is very sterile. There are some restaurants, but the choice is limited.

Room is clean and tidy. Location is good for our work. I will book next time again by early of next year. If possible, please remind me by early January 2024. Meanwhile, you can suggest another hotel for my better consideration.

There is only one restaurant which it is not enough for us to have more choose. If possible, hotel should try to add one Chinese restaurant.

when paid with credit card the staff didn't ask with currency we want to pay. and when i want change use local currency the staff said can't change to local currency. how come they don't know how to choose the currency we want to pay.

No comments-All good except for more Vegan options-Name tags should be put in front of food in buffet

Could also have WIFI at the Primus

The bar closed too early. The wifi reception in the room was poor.
