Great hotel to just stay there and hang out at the pool. Great breakfast and hot pot dinner buffet. Good, clean rooms with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Super, super expensive but that was because of the high season. Still our choice to go there, as we knew in advance. Nothing to do or see outside the hotel if you don't speak and read Chinese. It may be due to the closed Chinese borders but not really catering to foreign tourists. Again, that's alright, as we are guests in the country and chose to go there. Beach was a bit dirty with loads of plastic garbage brought in by the sea. They tried their best to keep it clean but couldn't cope with the amount...

Nice resort at Yalong bay. Rooms are well equipped and beach / pool area is very nice. We enjoyed the beach restaurant a lot. It‘s the only hotel with lot’s of sun beds at the beach. Gym area is a bit old fashioned but has everything you need.

Not a true 5* experience. Breakfast restaurant is pretty old fashioned, coffee comes in plastic cups, service a bit slow. In addition we waited until 18:30 until we got our room keys.

The service was awesome. They helped me to celebrate my husband birthday. They explained everything. They tried to support me even when we could not speak the same language.

Other guests used the pool as a shower for a kid. Also, some of them smoked in public areas.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for four nights, and didn't leave the resort. We were definitely beach bums, going from the room, to the buffet breakfast, to laying on the beach. We didn't feel a need to go anywhere else, we were quite happy parked at the hotel and the beach.

I messaged the property ahead to check that there were vegan options on the menu, and I was assured there were and I could just "order what I want." Upon entering the restaurants we learned there are almost NO options on the menu. The servers and chef went out of their way to create vegan options for me to eat, which I was really appreciative of. I wish the hotel would make it easier for everyone by offering vegan options or substitutions, so the staff didn't have to go to such great lengths to accommodate vegans and vegetarians.

The staff is pleasant. The room was in very good condition even if there were problems with toilet odours. The hotel has one of the most beautiful private beaches in Yalong Bay. Swimming was well supervised.

The hotel is very good but there are some weak points. There was an important odor problem in our room. In the morning, a smell of WC went up by the pipes and this "charming" smell woke us up 4 or 5 times. In a hotel at 1500 euros per week, it is a little disappointing. We are far from the American standards. The sand of the beach, in particular at the foot of the deckchairs, should be cleaned every day, even twice a day. Finally, the restaurant of the beach remains very amateur: the dishes arrive a little in the disorder, many dishes on the menu are finally not available. In a hotel that claims to be a luxury hotel, this is not very normal.

Excellent location. Good value for money, staff friendly.

Air conditioning in room.could have been better room never got below 24. Hotel were advertising the euros in lobby bar, yet when we went there to watch the England vs german game the bar was closing and TV was turned off. Luckily fellow English fans came prepared with laptops to plug into TV. Fish bar staff very friendly and helpful but clearly over run, took a long time to get cocktails during happy hour.

This is my second stay here and I’m quite satisfied. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay where your main activity is relaxing and/or swim, then this is the place for you. The beach is amazing.

Maybe the hotel shouldn’t allow the water sports to be that close to the swimming area. The noise pollution at the beach and the gasoline you breath when you swim is not nice.

The location was good, nice restaurants (especially the Fish Bar) and we got help from the hotel stuff to arrange our trips outside the resort. Friendly stuff in general. Kids club was also great, good program.

Very poor Service at the pool, I did not have the chance to even order coffee or tea. Stuff hardly spoke English (only at the reception and some very few were able to communicate in English). Water sports at the beach totally overpriced.

Pool large and on two levels, upper level used by adults more. Beach on the doorstep no need for a taxi, just a 20 second walk from the breakfast area. Beach clean and not too busy. Beach activities about 150m away from the hotel. Breakfast very busy you need to get down before 8:45am to have a nice table. Breakfast food good, big range of food to cater for everyone's tastes. Fish bar great selection. Fish bar burger very big and fills you up. Helpful staff - always with smile. Excellent views across the bay Rooms big, light and airy. Great shower in room Large bath

Rude guests who would push in front of you to rush to get food rather than being showing patience or good manners. Some rude guests would smoke in the non smoking areas and not listen to the helpful hotel staff. Some rude guests would shout across the breakfast area when talking to their family members or shout on their mobile phones when they where in the breakfast area. None of these are the hotels or the staff fault just people who lack consideration for others.
