Location in the centre of the city, rooms cosy. Buffet dinner quite good, great gym.

Older hotel with the smell of tobacco in non smoking rooms or at least in mine room 3507.

High quality service and interiors and everything. We requested a room high up and we got a room high up, nice view. The location, literally in the center of the city. Nice pool and water temperature, gym is ok.

You can't use the bench press in the gym without a gym expert (even you have experience yourself), and it costs money to get an expert, so the bench press in the gym is basically out of use for hotel guests. We put on do not disturb sign for one day (clearly because we are tired and do not wish to be disturbed), they still called the room several times asking if we need room service (feels like they didn't take no as an answer). Can not cast phone to TV. Only 1 chair in the room so 2 people can't sit together and eat in the room. Doors to bathroom doesn't have lock and can not be closed properly, lack of privacy.

Breakfast was pretty good - met my expectations and had the usual suspects: pastries, cereals, cooked food, salad and fresh fruits, egg station, bacon/sausages etc. though if you’re a tourist you’d find great street food options down the road at the food streets too, for much less money :) Location was fantastic - smack in the middle of yuzhong 5 mins or less from jiefangbei and just across the road from the hotel are two malls for light shopping/coffee shops. Less than 10 mins from the famous 22nd storey square on top of a medical centre that also looks like ground floor. Short walk from the rail system with line 1 that takes you to ciqikou and also raffles city at chaotianmen. Everything was easy to get to! No issues with water cleanliness or temperature.

A little old and stuffy. Well kept and definitely clean, just that felt sightly dated. No big complaints. Was assigned a non smoking floor as requested, air was relatively clean indoors.

Location is very centralized and within minutes of walk to all the shops and restaurants. Bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and clean. Most importantly, the attitude and helpfulness of the staff are unbeatable. My family member had a fall in the bathroom in the early hours of the day. The hotel very efficiently helped me to call the hospital and had a doctor come in the hotel room to check on my family. What’s more, when we decided to check out one day earlier at 2pm to fly back home due to this medical situation, the hotel did not charge us for this last day of stay at all. I appreciate very much the hotel’s super sensitive handling of this situation.

Some upgrade on the facility will be nice as it appears a bit dated.

- The hotel looks fantastic, and my room was perfect (clean, spacious, comfortable, with a great view) - The staff was very friendly and helpful, including in helping me book a great trip (thank you again) - The hotel is perfectly located with a subway station only a 3-4-minute walk away. The metro line itself is really convenient. - Plenty of restaurants/shops in the area, including some great Hot Pot spots, and a nice market-like street closeby. Just a 10-15-minute walk from Hongyadong, where on the platform you can find an incredible view of the city around sunset time (and also food on the lower floors). The walk on Qiansimen Bridge in the early evening is great too. - The view from my room was great, and enhanced my Chongqing experience. - Great value for the quality of my stay. - No complaints, highly recommend based on my personal experience.

Reasonable price for staying at the cbd of Chong Qing. Surrounded by malls, street foods, restaurants, public transport as well as tourist hot spot. This hotel should be in your pocket list whenever you visiting Chong Qing. Staffs were well trained and friendly too. Esp the maintenance crews, leave you a short sweet note on the table everyday when you return from the outside. The service of front desk and maintenance crews really lived up to the standard of a 4/5 stars hotel. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 11 nights. Everything is perfect. From receptionists to housekeepers, everyone is friendly and makes you feel like home. Room is spacious and clean. Hotel location is close to everything you can think of (food, attractions, public transport, convenient stores). We enjoy our stay here and definitely will recommend to anyone.

This is one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed in because of the value for money and the standard of service is outstanding. Don't be deceived by some of the older decor of the hotel because it is impeccably looked after and staff cannot do enough for you. You will feel happy and relaxed because everyone is so friendly and helpful from the door staff to the room cleaner and restaurant staff. This is what service should be like everywhere! Got a great discount on breakfast which was always excellent. Well done Glenview team!

It's hard to think of something about the hotel. At the time I was there this area was coming out of its peak Covid point and some local venues like music.bars etc were still unavailable even though all restaurants, malls etc were open.

Helpful staff, fantastic breakfast selection from cold salads, pastries, noodle soup, bao and other Chinese food alongside western/international staples.

No delivery robot or delivery service to your room for food. This should be the case for 5 stars in a major city. In other hotels in this city and others (even below 5 stars) this is present. The staff are nice and helpful though and there is a secure and warm box for accessing your food and other deliveries so it's not a huge issue.

This is an older hotel but don't be deceived. The service is absolutely brilliant. Everything is superclean and works exactly how it should. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. At breakfast they are very helpful and the price is a great deal if you reserve at check-in. Gym good and a nice pool with good changing facilities..

There wasn't really an evening place to relax open in this area of the city at the time but it was close to when this city had its Covid peak. Probably places opening up again now. Restaurants all open and you can get a taxi if you want something like live music.
