Selina Plaza Pucón

Great location in the town centre. The hostel has a cafe/restaurant, a pool and offers yoga classes and other wellness services (like massages etc.). The beds were comfortable, staff were super nice and helpful. The room/bathroom is cleaned everyday by the staff. And you are able to store your luggage there after checkout. You are also able to book tours via the hostel - I found them to be quite expensive so hiked on my own instead.

The bathroom in my room could get quite dirty. The shower wouldn't drain so there would be a pool of dirty water in the bottom of the shower. I did report this and it was actioned by the staff quickly, but started happening again the following day. The room was in a porta-cabin, so the steam from the shower made the bathroom very wet. It would have been nice to have hooks to hang your towel/clothes and maybe a bathmat to control how wet the floor became.

I liked the location, cleanliness and atmosphere.

I was very happy about car park facility, although there are no pictures of it on the website. It was quite important for me as I decided to hire a car and hoped for comfortable parking every time I go somewhere despite the time of the day. It was very disappointing to see that car park was tiny and often full. I had to park on the street anyway (4 streets away to avoid additional charges). There is quite big car park on the other side of the building but I was advised this was for staff only. Sad, that it was always empty.

Good level of privacy with curtains on beds. Clean and comfortable rooms. Strong WiFi. Good location, close to lots of amenities. Well equipped kitchen. Helpful staff. Nice pool area to chill at end of day. Swift laundry service for extra cost.

The only issue I had was when I requested a towel at reception (willing to pay extra cost) - I was told there were none available. A little inconvenient and a basic necessity which I would expect from a hostel.

Súper comfortable and the facilities were good. we enjoyed the cinema and there is large working spaces for digital nomads. Selina is located right near the beach which is beautiful for sunsets and relaxing. The kitchen space was great and it had lots of cookery equipment and complementary food left by other travellers

The bathroom was starting to dampen and mould it was also quite small to share with 6 people in a dorm. Although, it was cleaned daily it was not in the best condition.

The place is great for longer term stays. The vibe, the hotel, the different rooms, kitchen and layout... I love how they also accept and welcome the stray(?) dogs inside (for real, I love this). Having said that, a dog wash wouldn't hurt so they don't have the stinky wet fur smell.

We only stayed one night unfortunately. The room was a bit dark but the main flaw was the washroom mirror that had stains and the shower drain was filled with hairs :/ .. and I am bald. Probably it wasn't cleaned or they forgot to do so.

It is a pet friendly place, they let the street dogs come in when it's cold outside. I apreciate that more than anything. My respect for that. The attension is great, there is always someone at the counter so you can ask anything you need or want to know, this was my 2 time at Selinas and it is always a pleasure.

Nice location, friendly stuff

Selina is known for its amenities for digital nomads but in this particular place the co-working space was horrible, tiny with old and broken equipment and people yelling over the phone all day long. Service is very very slow. Takes forever to check in and out.

Friendly staff, nice room, beautiful decoration, great location. We got a surprising room upgrade for a room with private bathroom (we booked the only available one with a shared bathroom).

Our room wasn't cleaned but after we informed the staff, they cleaned it the next day. The hostel is quite expensive.

They went above and beyond, helping us out of a tricky situation. Great service. Rooms are comfy, beds are very comfy. Fast Wi-Fi. Big kitchen with two burners and sinks so multiple people can cook. Worth the price.

Check in was delayed by an hour and a half.

The atmosphere of this place is wonderful, and the location too!

We had a hard time wirh the sink, why qre there two different taps, onefor hot water and one for cold? It's the most uncomfortable solution we encountered so far. You either freeze yourself or burn yourself...
