Motel de l'Anse a l'Eau

Location was perfect for exploring the town. Room was good sized with patio door and small porch at front and parking at back with another door. Keurig coffee machine was nice. Grounds were well kept and it was nice sitting outside. Bakery was right across the street. Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance.

Minor maintenance is required. The toilet ran unless you flicked the handle frequently, the tub dripped constantly and we could not use the fan because it rattled at every speed.

It was good for a short three day . Facility was clean and the room had it’s own entrance, as per Covid I found this safe. Friendly and helpful staff. They asked us what we wanted to do and guided us on a map to the main attractions and restaurants. Good value for our money.

We had the highway behind us and a the main street in front. I was however surprised it was not as noisy as I thought. Quiet at night. If you are a light sleeper you may have a problem as we could hear foot steps form above and water running for bathroom from the unit above. No microwave but fridge and coffee machine. For a short stay and last minute booking it does the job!

The motel is easy to find and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. When I needed to freeze my ice-packs, they offered to put them in the freezer in the office and lent me couple of icepacks for overnight.

One light switch controls all outlets in the room, so you can only use those outlets to charge your phone when the lights are on! Strange wiring....Also, I could not figure out how to use the TV, during the Olympic Games. It said receiver not available. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to get reception for a few hours of our stay.

Could have been easier, if we got our rooms in the main floor. Taking luggages and go in steps is not ideal. Liked the sexy decoration arrangement of tawall! Very next to the wail watching cruce deck.

Clean, comfortable and perfectly-located, run by amazing staff. Our room was facing the main street (which we knew about in advance). With a pair of earplugs, we did not hear any noise during the night and spent 3 comfortable nights there. The extra bed in the room was great for us. The bathroom/shower were brand new, big and clean.

Nothing.

The property was within walking distance of everything you need, including local attractions and excursions. The room was also exceptionally clean.

The room was a bit over priced for what it was. It got very stuffy with the heat (no air conditioning) and we were not allowed to smoke on the balcony of our room.

The gentleman showed up to let us into our room within minutes of calling him. The owner has multiple businesses close by (from what I understood) The outer area of hotel, halls, room were clean, up to date and modern. The bed was comfortable. The only negative for me personally was the shower head. The water pressure was ok but the shower head sucked and sprayed out a mist that could not be changed. Other than that, the gentleman was kind, welcoming and smiling to see us stop. Thank you for a place to call home on our very long trip!

Very clean, gret location in walking distance to everything in Tadoussac and right across a very nice bakery to get breakfast. Overall quiet, did not hear any neighbours or disturbing traffic noise. Painfree check-in and check-out.

The table in the room was small for two persons.

Receptionist was very friendly, he upgraded our room. Room was clean.

The motel is located between streets, The room had just beds and small bedside table. A bit expensive for a simple motel. Bathroom fan very noisy and turns on with the light.

On the second floor and we are seniors . near roadway which was noisy at times
