Great staff, large room with new flooring (wood look vinyl flooring), comfortable bed, fridge and microwave, flat screen TV with satellite TV channels. We used our laptop hooked up with our own HDMI cable and our own downloaded shows/movies along with some of the satellite channels. We stayed for six nights and visited surrounding attractions/communities and enjoyed the fall colours as well.

WIFI was only usable in the lobby and cell phone signal is poor inside the room. We knew this beforehand by reading the reviews and made due ok.

I met Ana who is very welcoming. She told me that our room was recently refurbished which they did a great job.Ordered a meal from their restaurant and that was definately of good quality. Very clean room, peaceful place, lovely staff taking care of the property.

The room was excellent very clean I think newly renovated. The outside of the building needed work. I am guessing they are relatively new owners and have been renovating but the outside made it look dumpy. Very nice couple when I registered friendly.

Supper friendly staff, very likeable and welcoming. Anna was awesome. fresh, clean smelling rooms. restaurant offers hot, freshly prepared meals good value for the money.

grout between the tiles in bath was nasty.

the location, the view from the suite upstairs we were able to see some cows! the service, they were very accommodating even extended our check out and let us use the bbqs after a late check in, oh how could I forget bout the hammocks!! so much fun and relaxing and not too far from tobermory, the tub was big enough that I could take a bath :), the fireplace was really nice, the bed was so comfortable will definitely stay again as a stop along the way to bruce penisula

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet, and Ana and Jay were very helpful and friendly! It was a very good location, central to all locations along the peninsula. We initially looked for accommodation in Tobermory, but are so glad we stayed in Wiarton at Shenstone as it was a much better jumping off point for all other sights in the area. Will definitely stay at the Shenstone again!

The only thing is the wifi signal. Pretty much non-existent unless your room is beside the office. But the cell signal on the entire peninsula is mediocre (at best). Having said that, it was actually nice to unplug for a few days.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Very helpful. The motel was older but very clean and comfortable. We went for a relaxing time and it was definitely accomplished

Good location, close to Sauble Beach and 1 hr driving distance to Bruce Peninsula Park and Tobermory. Owner was very nice and gave some excellent suggestions of places to visit (Flower Pot Island, Sauble Beach). Room was clean and spacious.

Strong odour from bathroom sink and shower faucets. We had to pick up some air fresheners to put in bathroom to help combat the odour. No ventilation in bathroom to help with humidity after showering. No wifi in the room. Overpriced for a motel but you pay for the location.

Nice room, clean and comfortable bed. Liked that it had a good size TV, nice dressers, good size fridge and a microwave. The size of the room was very good.

No internet at this location. Also cellphone data wouldn't work either at this location unfortunately. Room refrigerator freezes everything no knob to control temperature on it broken off I would say. Place not open when we checked out so couldn't tell them about it.Keys put in there box off drop.

The staff and their friendliness is my biggest compliment to them. The location as well was perfect, really close to Tober Morey which is where I wanted to do my sightseeing this weekend. There are lots of amenities nearby such as a grocery store, and a Tim Hortons.

The only thing that I think could be improved is the towel quality. Their towels were quite small and I don’t think they provided enough towels however I did not bring that to their attention so in all fairness I’m sure if I had asked for more towels they would’ve absolutely provided it.
