I was worried about getting a good night's sleep in a glass-box style room in the sky, but the curtains/blinds were excellent, keeping the room dark. The air-con kept the room cool without being too noisy as with many hotel air-conditioning units. The bed was super comfy. Even though I'd just got off a long-haul flight, I slept really well. Thank you Pantages!

Not a fan of high-rises, but if you want to stay in central Toronto most hotels are like this. It didn't serve breakfast in the bar on the day we were there (if at all?), but we enjoyed our visit to Fran's Diner adjacent to the hotel. We travel a lot and we found hotels in Toronto generally expensive, but this one was a little more reasonable, so a good option if you don't want to break the bank.

Spacious, comfortable rooms. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent location. My room (5th floor) was quiet, no street noise at night. Good facilities in room- decent coffee machine, plenty of closet space, big TV, hair dryer, ironing board (if that's your thing!) and air conditioning that was effective and easy to set. Bathroom was a good size with a large walk-in shower. For the period I was there (during TIFF, when prices in the city tend to be higher) it was exceptionally good value.

Very minor thing, but no room service - would have been nice to have the option to have food sent up from the reataurant.

Very stylish, modern and clean with good wifi reception even on the higher floors. The staff were absolutely wonderful, particularly Pella. My fiancé and I cannot fault her at all, she was happy to relocate us to another room due to a few mishaps with the facilities we had. The hotel is in a central location to everything and a stone throw away from Dundas Square.

The only things that come to mine are the fact that you have to ask for your room to be cleaned a day before, otherwise, it won’t be cleaned until requested. Secondly, the options on live TV are very vague and there is not an option to view a tv guide to see what’s on.

The room was spacious (kitchen with living room and dining table (there was also a TV), bathroom, washing machine/drier, and huge bedroom (2nd TV located here). All rooms had floor to ceiling windows which made them bright (we were also on 13th floor which helped to be above neighboring buildings). Housekeeping upon request. The hotel location is very good, close to subway stop and shopping center. 15min away from waterfront. 5min away from a mini supermarket. Kitchen: well equipped - had refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker and 2 stoves. Also they provided with glassware, dishware and utensils for 2 people. Living room: spacious with a bed sofa (we never opened it) which looked a bit old and bitten up - we were sliding off as pillows were not stable - and a dining table Bedroom: Bed was massive and comfortable. There was enough space on the floor for 3 open suitcases and a baby crib. Bathroom: well equipped and spacious. Reception has everything that you may want (towels, toilet paper, body/hair soap, dish soap, washing machine soap, dishwasher soap).

We ate breakfast and dinner only once at the ground floor restaurant/bar - we do not recommend (there are other cheaper or same price choices around). Would have like the reception to inform us during check in that they can provide everything (or we should have asked, so not exactly a negative).

I really liked how roomy and classy the room was. I love the marble looking bathroom and blue tones everywhere. I liked that it actually has a mini fridge when a lot of hotels don’t I find. And the location was amazing, a 5min walk to Eaton Centre that has the Queen station line and a 24/7 Shoppers a 3min walk around the corner which proved super useful a couple times!

I didn’t like that the housekeeping staff knocked on my door at 10:45am when I was about to go check out. I felt extra rushed and stressed once I felt like she was waiting on me. I’ve never had someone check in on my room while trying to gather myself together to leave. Also as far as I know they had no ice machine or filtered water options, so I bought water from Shoppers, but thats just a me thing.

The location was excellent because we went to Toronto to attend a K-Pop concert at the TD music hall right next door to Pantages. Our concert involved long lines, much standing in line, and was exhausting, so it was a relief to just be able to go back and forth to our cozy hotel room before and after the concert. There are several parking garages near the hotel and it was easy to drop off luggage in front of the hotel and then put the car in a garage. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and the surroundings were fairly quiet at night which helped make sleep more comfortable.

The price was high, partly because we had to get a room with a kitchenette(dishwasher, fridge, etc.) to get enough room for 3 people when a lot of rooms were sold out. We did end up putting food in the fridge and using the microwave though. The shower was clean but the set-up was confusing(was like some European ones we've seen while traveling but didn't have markings for hot/cold) and it was hard to control the temperature of the water. Providing directions might help, but the main showerhead seemed to be fixed in place and would have been even more annoying if we were taller people.

Beautiful updated bathroom. Comfortable bed which was soft enough for me. This king. room had a kitchenette which I was not expecting. It had a sink, refrigerator with a freezer that was about 5 feet tall, coffee maker, small stove to0 and you could request kitchen ware. No ice machine in the halls but you can request they bring you some.We were in room 1704 which was the top floor and away from the elevator so it was quiet and had a nice view facing the Eaton Centre on the next street over and we could see a nice sunset. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Had breakfast at Fran's restaurant right beside the hotel which was good with great service. This hotel is about a block away from the Queen St. entrance to St. Michael's Hospital,, a block away from the Eaton Centre, Ed Mirvish Theatre and the Elgin WinterGarden theatre. It's just around the corner from Massey Hall.

The hotel was well placed for my needs. The rooms on both occasions that I stayed in this hotel were large and the second stay was more like having a suite than a large room.

Having stayed in a 4 * hotel at Heathrow before flying out, I am not sure that I can properly compare Pantages Hotel, rated 4 *, with my UK stay. I was surprised that breakfast was not available, although the nearby diner, Fran's, provided excellent meals. This maybe a cultural thing though, as the mid trip hotel I stayed in at Windsor Ontario did not appear to serve breakfast either. A north American thing maybe. My bete noir with all hotels is the size of the basin in the bathroom. As i recall those in this hotel were large-ish in area, but shallow. Theye also had a centrally placed monobloc tap. Knock-out position and/or splash water on the floor. One day i may chnage the world on this one!!!

Great location, clean, spacious and comfy rooms. Pleasantly surprised to see a working thermostat!

The bar was closed (although establishments were open across the city), understandable in the pandemic context. No parking - but there is one across the street for the St Michael Hospital - one of the cheapest around.

Amazing location, almost next door to Ed Mirvish theatre, around the corner from Yonge Dundas Square, Little Canada and Eaton Centre. Public transport options nearby, walkable distance from Union station if required also. Quite large room with modern decor, king size bed with more than enough chairs and storage. Or place had washing machine and dryer with stove, fridge and pod coffee machine. Shower was okay, did have reasonably hot water. 24/7 front desk which was helpful when we needed to arrange airport transport in a snowstorm. Small restaurant and bar which we did not use. Despite being on 13th floor, still had distant traffic noise including sirens, there is a hospital across the street. Otherwise quiet room.

Despite the built in alliances, individual items like cups, plates, cutlery etc had to be requested. No kettle as you might expect in North America. Despite the two large Samsung TVs, they use an old TV box type system - should have brought a Chromecast! Central heating quite noisy.
