Best Western Plus Parry Sound

The location is central to everything! Walkable to whatever you might need and a short drive (4-5mins) from the marina, beach, dock, and park. Loved that the hotel is pet friendly! For a pet friendly hotel, the room is modern and new which is a wonderful surprise considering that pet friendly hotels in Ontario are usually not well kept and don't have amenities/stylistic decor. The swimming pool and fitness area were great - super clean and not busy even over the weekend. All staff were EXTREMELY friendly and even accommodated a late check out for us.

There were two massive flat screens in the room but no smart connection abilities to Netflix or anything unless you had an HDMI and a laptop, which isn't ideal. Also, breakfast would run out earlier than the time depending on how many people came before you to grab it which again, not ideal. Would've liked extra coffee pods in the room, we had to ask for more because there weren't that many initially. But none of these were deal breakers :)

Great hotel and perfect for our needs. We were just passing through as part of a road trip across Canada. The hotel was clean, you could tell it was new, everything worked and was modern. The staff were very friendly. Location is ideal, close to the highway and just outside the centre of Parry Sound with free parking, a few fast food chains nearby, which close around 9pm and the town centre is only a few minutes drive away. The bed was extremely comfy, queen size and room very spacious with microwave, fridge and coffee facilities. Would definitely stay again and wish we had longer to make use of the pool. Breakfast included, which was a nice touch. Basic but did the job.

The hotel is brand new and clean. They have an amazing breakfast which has all the options. Our room was cozy and big enough for myself, my husband and our daughter. The beds were comfortable and they provided a crib for our daughter.

I did not like that it was a bit noisy but I think that is a infrastructure thing that cannot be controlled (eg) walls are too thin. I think they also overcharged me since I did not get my security deposit back. Will have to call them regarding it. It was probably just a clerical error.

Exceptionally clean location and a friendly staff. Most interaction was with the breakfast staff and they were super friendly while making sure everyone had what they required plus clearing and sanitizing tables/chairs when folks left. Front desk staff very professional and helpful also

Although there are many fast food restaurants around the location there is a lack of a decent sit-down restaurant in the area. There a quite a few in the downtown area of Parry Sound but requires using the car to get there.

Modern, Stylish, Spotless, Dog Friendly, perfect for Muskoka exploration and 30 000 Island Cruise

The people across the hall locked their yappy dog in the room and it barked at the door till they got back at 10:30. Then the kids started crying and the dad yelling till 11:30. Nightmare family. Anyhow, the floors are the wood look vinyl and there is an inch and a half gap at the bottom of the room doors so everything travels and echoes. We ended up stuffing a moist bath towel at the bottom edge of the door to supress some of their nonsense.

It's a beautiful, well kept hotel with great amenities. The location is fantastic. The king suite is a great size with a wonderful little litchenette area. The beds, pillows, and size of the bathroom with a walk in shower...amazing. The breakfast has great selection and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here!

Some firmer pillows would have been appreciated but not a deal breaker.

The breakfast had lots of options. The pool was a good temperature but slightly small. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The lobby was bright and comfortable. Also loved that Wal-Mart was walking distance so we could get some late night snacks for our trip.

The only bad thing I can say about this Best Western is the staff member who checked us in was unprofessional.

The location was fine - the AC was a litle too cold. I would suggest you use real dishes and cutlery - less going to landfill.

The thermostat in my room was difficult to set where I wanted it - and the AC kicked in when the thermostat was OFF! Another suggestion: make small maps of the town available at the desk.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic rooms and fantastically appointed, a swimming pool just right for kids.

Breakfast was very depressing: paper plates; plastic cutlery that cannot pick up the good, hardly any fresh food that is not processed food.

Beautiful new building with very nice furniture. Very comfortable bed with beautiful bedding. Great swimming pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. The location is perfect, close to lots of eatery’s and stores.

The scramble eggs could be improved.
