Mountain View Motel

Even thought our first night was rocky. I'm coming back with my family.. Great Place!!

The first night the breaker blow.. so we weren't able to have any air conditioning or TV until someone came in to the office the next morning... That night wasn't great But once the owner found out we were reasonably compensated and enjoyed the rest of our stay without any further issues.

The room looked like it had been recently updated with a Roku, new floors and a fresh coat of paint. It was clean and comfortable.

No complaints! We stayed here for one night while visiting a nearby friend's cottage (avoiding sleeping on a sofa bed). The bed was comfortable and AC kept the room at a comfortable sleeping temperature in July.

Air conditioner unit was actually so cold we had to back it off a bit in the worst of summer heat and humidity A++ 10/10! Neat, clean, well maintained, lovely outdoor lounge area plus bbq. Staff was very friendly and helpful accommodating our needs and helping us figure out where to eat and explore. Our bed even had an awesome foam topper you sink in just enough but still firm.

I wouldn't change a thing.

It was a very nice location with nice scenery. I enjoyed lounging in the screened gazebo, it relaxing especially at night.

Everything was great , except for a couple spiders and bugs lingering inside around the room when we first arrived. Unfortunately places close early around 8pm so it's difficult to get anything if you need it after that time.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the coffee maker, microwave and small fridge. The bed was quite comfortable. Quiet, peaceful area.

The room was a bit small, but was okay for a short stay.

Enjoyed the breakfast at the Mountain view motel , Better then the Hotel in Barry Bay . And no bus stop Restaurant any more . I'll eat Mountainview motel breakfast any time .

The location was perfect for us. There is not much available in that area. The hotel is trying to provide comfort. There is nice gazebo for breakfast, or chat. There is an access to good walking trail behind.

Happy for one night stay. Bed could be bigger.

The staff is very responsive. When we first arrived, we did not have hot/warm water. The staff immediately came over and checked.

It is difficult to switch channels. Whenever a channel is changed, the TV shut down. However, the staff came over immediately when we had the issue.

Easy check in, hospitable staff, went above and beyond. Great value for the money. Location is good and close to The Wilno Tavern which everyone must go to enjoy excellent Polish food!

I have zero complaints as my expectations were exceeded.

I like being able to park right out front my door. I like that upon arrival ac was already on, room cooled and fridge on as well. Place was clean, comfortable bed and soft pillows. Right off hwy and close to town. 2nd time ive stayed here and will return. Owners are nice and accommodating too.

Sticky door and cannot leave unlocked to exit room...can lock yourself out.
