Comfort Inn Yarmouth

The staff seemed to enjoy working there. They offered small toys out front for little kids. the room had a bathtub and many tv channels. The hotel is quiet, with mostly adult guests, not like the Tru hotel down the road, which is very loud with tons of kids. Even though the location is on the main road in Yarmouth, the room is quiet. They offered a grill and chairs outside for guests. Enough parking. Early check in time is nice. I would stay again.

Rooms were a bit hot, as the AC slows down from like 11pm to 7 am. Bring a fan or ask to be on the first floor, as those rooms have big balcony like doors. The breakfast is basic. Housekeeping hit and miss. We knew they would only clean the room after three nights, which is fine, but when they did they missed replacing some items, and they did not make my bed ( I think because I had a clothes item on the bed and maybe they are told not to touch people's personal things.)

Very clean. All the staff were awesome! Super friendly and helpful. Specially kudos to Bria who was working in the breakfast nook. She was hardworking every minute I ran into her and so kind to guests. Example….I was following a gentleman in the hallway who was bringing back his breakfast tray. She stopped him and offered to take his tray since she was “going that way”. Such a sweet gesture 😊

Tv did not work in first room so we had to move after we had settled in. Smelled like air freshener covering up tobacco smoke 😳

Kitchen worker a lady that moved from B.C was amazing very polite offered to make a waffle for me she sang as she cleaned the tables and carried an excellent conversation with me. I also met the maintenance person who was helpful to show me how to use the heating system very polite as well. I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to little Easter eggs hidden around the building.

Beds where ok could of been softer for my preference.

The breakfast was excellent. It was everything there that i usually have in the morning. In the past I have stayed at other comfort Inns and been satisfied.

The air condition so close to the one bed. I had to get up and turn off and on a couple times.

I liked that there was a great breakfast included, which allowed us a timely departure. We only were coming through. So we had everything we needed. We will come back, when we are coming through here again.

I am not a fan of picking on very little things. Nothing major comes to mind.

The woman who ran the breakfast area went above and beyond with her friendliness, suggestions for sightseeing and offering us more breakfast, though we came 15 min. Before it closed. She is exactly what hospitality should be!

The bed was a bit uncomfortable.

The location was excellent, the coffee excellent and breakfast was as good as could be expected under the covid situation. The staff was very helpful re maps, restaurant suggestions, etc. Also it was amazingly quiet given the busy road it is located on.

We were disappointed there wasn't an elevator , since we are both seniors, my husband is 83, and stairs carrying a case up to the second floor wasn't the easiest thing in the world. Had we known there wasn't one when we checked in we would have asked to be moved but we were already down to the stairs at the end of the hall before we realized it, so didn't bother going back.

We arrived too late for breakfast,the staff member who was on for breakfast session,very kindly made sure we had breakfast. She was friendly and professional. We did noticed shortly after she left as her shift was over. I think she went out of her way to accommodate us.

The breakfast was amazing. The lady who cooked it was frendly and helpful. The hotel was in the right location close to everything. Would defently stay here again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Not too far from downtown Yarmouth, close to supermarkets and restaurants, easy to find, lots of parking

Lights and TV in breakfast room were switched off even before 9 am. Toilet seat broken.
