Residence Inn by Marriott Halifax Dartmouth

The near by park was great for walking the dog. The Staff was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Every One of them. Breakfasts were good, would have liked more fibre and fruit, vegetable options. Good picture on the TV's. Good Internet. A VERY QUIET LOCATION, which is important to me. Nice views out my windows, lots of natural light from the huge windows. . Lots of hot water, It was attractive, the suite and the building as a whole. We lived there for a month and were comfortable with the space for that length of time

Better lighting would be nice A ceiling fixture in the living room area for example.. Kitchen chairs and desk chair could be better quality Heating was difficult to adjust, slow to warm up, often an unwanted cold draft from the ceiling vent in the living room.

The property is well manicured, the suite was spacious, beds were comfortable and the breakfast is an added bonus.

Front desk staff, should probably go to Starbuck's training. Everyone who works at Starbucks always greet their customers cheerful and smiling, and at the Marriot front desk staff is not pleasant and give off an unwelcome attitude. Maybe they had wet themselves? Who knows, right?

the entire stay was excellent! the 2 lovely ladies who checked us in was very nice, customer service was great! Asura (not sure if it is the correct name) and lovely lady(forgot the name) who was helping Asura (who gaved me a wine because its my birthday)also gave us the best customer service. Nicole from Frontdesk also was great! The people from the breakfast area was so nice to us to and lastly, our check out transaction was very fast thanks to Rain. Would really love to come back again to this hotel

extremely clean, spacious, well maintained, well equally.. superb facilities.. newer building great value. pool and gym are fabulous.

breakfast served until 9am in the weekdays, and 9:30 during weekend .. kind of early for ppl from the west. also I wish there are choices of pillows.. all very plushy

I liked the location. I enjoyed my privacy. The room was more like a bachelor suite so I felt comfortable coming and going. Their cleaning routine during COVID made me feel safe and comfortable

I didn't like breakfast. It didn't taste that great. But it did the job. If my son and husband had joined me I would have been completely as happy with this hotel as I was.

Having the option to eat in for breakfast Our cleaner (Sue) was fantastic - helpful and accommodating

Hot food should notbe served before cold breakfast items. There wasn’t much of an assortment of fruit just green bananas Not giving a option for a tray to carry the food which we had to make a few trips back and forth There was a line up leaving which there was no flow of an exit to properly maintain social distancing. The staff working were doing a great job but due to the set up it was a wait which causes a line up during breakfast rush

Rain (customer service staff at desk upon arrival) was exceptional in helping us with our booking and ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was good & there was a decent variety of choices. The fitness centre was well equipped & the pool was great for the children.

We requested a late checkout the morning of departure and unfortunately were not able to have that.

The hotel was nice, new, clean, the rooms wer spacious and comfortable

The breakfast was just okay could have improvements, not enough hot items to chose from. It was busy not very organized for the space. The major disappointment was paper plates and plastic utensils, not impressed.

The hotel was wonderful, friendly staff, location excellent. Rooms very well appointed . Definitely would stay here again.

Impeccably clean!

There was a couple partying in room beside us and drugs were coming through adjoining door. Screaming, swearing, falling over on top of of things… the hotel management handled it well and kicked them out at 2 AM but we couldn’t sleep after that because marijuana smell was so strong in our room. Today we feel ill and have a long drive ahead of us:(
