Lakeside Motel

Great place for short or longer stays. It's very clean and you have everything that you may need. The internet worked great as well, and the room was quiet and very spacious. We were fortunate to get the room with the lake view, and it was most beautiful balcony view! There is a really lovely mini golf course within the complex to keep you entertained, too.

The whole motel itself is a bit outdated. It certainly is not the deal breaker, as everything works great and it's really well kept, but it's worth mentioning.

It's an older place from it's outside looks but once inside things get a lot better. A single person could live there with a living-room/kitchen, full bath and a separate bed room! All the things you'd need to cook a full meal and clean up afterwards!!

The place looked run down from the outside. Getting in and out of the place was a bit difficult. The traffic on the road is moving very fast which isn't the motels fault but still a reality. I'd still stay there!

The staff were INCREDIBLE!! I did not realize that check-in ended at 8pm and I was set to arrive later, so I called and the gentleman was so kind and helpful. He also gave such good directions and made me feel very welcomed. Incredible first impression. The room was cozy and lovely, the bed was SO comfortable. I was blown away, especially for the cost. I did not have high expectations because it was inexpensive but I was sure delightfully surprised.

I had a hard time getting hot water in the shower but I'm pretty sure I was using the handle incorrectly.

Right by the lake and the highway, one would expect traffic noise. Instead it’s a cacophony of bird sounds, lovely. At least for the rooms like the one we had been staying in, facing West. Thank you for having pillows that are not huge and puffy like in so many hotel/ motels. And thank you for providing a toaster.

The bathroom door was creaking so loudly that everyone woke up in the night. The porch light shines so brightly through the windows of the main door that we had to come up with a contraption to keep the light out, otherwise it would have been too bright to sleep. The mattress was too soft, but that’s a personal choice.

No Breakfast was included

The patio door did not Lock. They did have a stick to put in the patio door but I did not feel safe. The sliding door made so much noise opening and closing. Needs a little oil or something. The office has ice. However the handed me a large size ziplock and said to scoop it out. I felt was not very sanitary. Who knows the last person who had their hands on there. However was good to have some and be able to make a drink. Maybe prebag ice for people staying with you.

Loved the rustic feeling. Room was clean and had been updated. Comfortable and well supplied. Staff were very warm and friendly.

Cobwebs on outside screen door to room which needed to be brushed away. Parking for room I was in would have been tight if someone was in room beside me. Motel signage could be better and access very sharp dip off highway.Need to be cautious when pulling out.

It was the perfect location, easy to stop for the night. Check in was amazing, even though we arrived close to midnight. The staff made preparations before we left for a smooth check in. The location itself is beautiful because it is right by the lake. The property was all maintained and it seemed like a good oasis and getaway spot.

I like the location. Quite quiet. Staff was great. They were very accomodating as we kept having to extend our stay.

The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the shower and fan in the bathroom. Very little pressure in the shower and the fan was very noisy. But....I am thankful for the accomodations. These are just little things

Amazing view from the room onto the lake and the size of the beds! We never had so many complimentary drinks and items- washing products... clean and charming hotel.

We had very loud neighbours who were talking on the balcony till 3 AM, loud, so we could not sleep with our balcony door open! I know, this is not the fault of the hotel, but maybe to remind guests to respect their neighbours and keep it down after 23:00.

The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, with a wonderful view of the lake. I love the double sliding doors. Some fellow guests were sitting at the picnic table in the back directly under our balcony having a few beers, and while they weren't being loud, we could hear their conversation clearly with the doors open, but once closed, we had absolute silence. The balconies are very spacious, with seating provided.
