Wonderful location and views of Cox beach which is the best surfer beach! really great chill vibe across the whole place and particularly loved the outside bar space with firepits overlooking the ocean. Really nice room with ocean view and a huge bath! very comfy bed and nice additions like local coffee and sweets in room, blankets for outside and rain jackets! also decent gym space and great hot tub! Service was also excellent with very helpful front of house staff!

You need to drive into town or get a taxi which is about 20 CAD but definitely worth it given the picturesque location!

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. A bottle of wine was provided to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We had brunch and dinner in the Great Room. in both cases, the food was tasty but not hot. We stayed in Room 205 which was right beside the kitchen and public washrooms and could hear the kitchen staff shouting to the wait staff. We asked to change rooms, but they were full. There was a tree just outside the balcony which blocked a substantial part of the view to the left.

our cabin 15, felt private while being attached to another. Forest greenery provided lush screening for cabin. The cabin kitchen was well equipped and a local coffee was even provided. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The beach was a great spot for walking and watching the surfers. we did not eat at the restaurant but did have drinks. Gorgeous views were had out all the windows. The resort is close to Tofino and other beach access points as well as restaurants and tours. The botanical gardens were two hours enjoyably spent. I would recommend this property.

A beach view from the cabin would have been preferred but the cozy forest setting was certainly enjoyable and relaxing. In all, there was nothing we could say we didn’t like.

The location was perfectly situated to explore the area. Compact property with amazing views. Our room was lovely; had a corner room! The dining experience was fabulous and the food is scrumptious. Recommend the tuna and squid appetizers. The staff are so friendly and kind. We were celebrating a milestone anniversary and they went out of their way to make it special for us. Will return definitely!

We last stayed here 12 years ago and on return it did not disappoint. It was just as beautiful as the first time. We stayed in a beautiful room with an ocean view balcony of stunning Cox Bay. The room was spotless with plenty of room. We had breakfast both mornings at the lodge which were excellent (lots of choices). The restaurant/lounge area is beautiful with huge windows allowing perfect views of the ocean. Outside there are nice sitting areas and a small bistro. The staff were warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for a little slice of heaven.

Disappointed that we did not get an oceanview. Assumed all rooms had a view & categories were based on size & extra amenities. Some family had stayed there last year with a dog & had an oceanfront view without asking. Try to change but not available for our 3 day stay. No indoor area to observe ocean unless sitting in dining room.

No experienced mature staff. Younger generation behaved more like cheer leaders from a motivational seminar. They say the words but do not carry through or are sincere.

The location mostly, love the great room, wonderful place to sit and dine. Ate breakfast there every morning.

Patio glass difficult to see through, i know is difficult with the sea spray. Could use sheets that fit the mattress, bottom sheet too small, impossible to keep in place. The bed was very comfortable.

The restaurant had exceptional food! Our waitress was lovely and helped recommend a nice bottle of wine and brought tasters first so we could decide. Setting of the hotel was stunningly gorgeous. Front desk called to find out if we needed anything in our rooms, towels etc.

No cleaning service due to covid protocols :( altho certainly not their fault. Would have been nice if rooms had Nespresso machines and pods rather than a French press with coffee

Thought compared to other establishments on the east coast the restaurant was a bit overpriced. if you are not a surfer or like pool, there is not a guest bar, unless you attend happy hour in the Great Room
