Rest Inn

Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean, well maintained unit with good kitchenette. A convection oven as well as microwave and a 2 burner stovetop. BBQ also available to use. Rooms appear to be recently renovated to a good standard. Comfortable bed, good bathroom. Hot water right away and good pressure in the shower. Non-carpeted floors were much appreciated. A real gem.

A bedside table for both sides of the bed instead of just one would have been helpful as well as good reading lights for both sides.

I liked the cleanliness and how quiet the area around the motel was. Also how well the grounds outside were kept. I was disappointed only that the breakfast room was not able to be open during this covid 19, but that cannot be helped during a time like this. I had stayed at this motel a couple years ago, and I will definitely stay anytime I come up to Terrace, it's a very good place to stay, and is very reasonable.

The only thing that could have been better is having the breakfast room opened, but that is not possible at this time what with the covid 19 rules, but maybe next time I stay, I will be able to enjoy this feature again. Thank you for a great stay!

Very close to Highway 37, Kitimat and the airport. My wife’s flight arrived at 0026 am on the 10th JULY as against the advertised time of 1026 pm on the 9th July. The lady at the reception on arrival was kind and friendly

A truck packing on the yellow line and blocking pedestrian access to the stairs. The fact that the cleaner was banging on the door and attempted to enter at 0925 am

Staff was extremely helpful despite the fact that we arrived a little early. She gave us a very good room and all advice we needed (we had a lot of questions). Breakfast is ok; we were too late for the waffles... :-(

The waffles were gone but the rest of the breakfast was ok.

Everything else was good. It's an older hotel but nicely fixed up. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Helpful pleasant person on the desk

Very strong disinfectant smell. It smelled like the old "Pine Sol". It took a long time to get smell to tolerable level even with bathroom fan, heating unit fan and windows open. It has the office in an odd spot, you have to go down a few steps to it. All other levels you have to go up steps. It might be a problem if you have mobility issues.

Heavy handed surveillance cameras and smoking signs threatening punishment to the " fullest extent of the law". Reminder, This is Canada not an authoritarian country. Lighten up folks. Also, no breakfast as advertised. Apperantly due to Covid 19. Fact check here. After 15 travel days and 10 hotels. The Rest Inn is the only hotel we did not have a breakfast or similar snack bag provided.

It was clean and very quiet. The Continental breakfast was not good. There was no coffee and very little else. That said , the room was great and we had a marvelous sleep.

I liked the room I stayed in. The bed was pretty comfortable. Maybe the best one I slept in during my 18 day cycling trip through BC.

Everything about the property was good. I was travelling by bicycle so in hindsight, I wish the hotel I stayed at was a little closer to the things I had planned to do in Terrace. I had to walk a little on tired legs in the heat but I can’t complain too much. I had a great time.

Excellent location ,easy access to restaurants, downtown area ,you can walk to.Rooms are cozy and quiet ! Bottked water offered in rooms on a hot day was amazing, thx .Excellent service !
