Heritage Inn

Being an independent inn and not a high-end hotel, I had lowered expectations. But in terms of cleanliness, having nice firm beds, and A/C, I was pleasantly surprised. Plus the three beds and a private room for parents, was fantastic!

A reduced rate based on breakfast NOT being provided (though it was advertised) would have made a world of difference. We had nothing more than cereal for breakfast because without any means to make a healthy breakfast, our options were non-existent... cereal or expensive restaurants, to the tune of $76 for the family. $80 off a night would have been fair.

Friendly staff and cleanliness was excellent! The location was easy to find and close to amenities. Enjoyed the ease of check-in and the quiet time was strictly adhered to so a great restful sleep!

Breakfast was advertised on the website for morning but upon check-in we were told it was not available due to rising COVID numbers? If this is the case then it should have been updated to the web. When I travel I budget for meals especially continental breakfasts which make the cost of a night away easier. Even a bag to go breakfast would have been appreciated and would , I am sure,have adhered to COVID protocols.

— Because the floor is carpeted, there are tell-tale marks of dust along the edges of the carpet and wall that must’ve collected through the years and seldom thorough cleaning. — The use of itchy heavy wool (?) blanket beneath the outer quilt — perhaps update the blankets to simple white quilt/duvet cover and put in a layer of cotton fabric underneath the white quilt/duvet cover.

Comfy king size bed, quiet air conditioner that did the job and clean room. Quiet room. Older motel but room was perfectly adequate. Save on Foods directly across the street and lots of fast food places close by.

Front desk clerk was abrupt. Ice machine, pop machine and guest lounge area closed but clerk got me ice when I requested it.

The hotel was very easy to find. It was a nice quiet motel. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of hot water for a bath and the AC worked nicely too.

The room had a faint fishy smell like someone had been fishing then cleaned their fish there. I could smell the air freshener trying to cover it, but you could still smell it. Also, the garbage can in the bathroom had some streaks on it that looked like it was used in the fish cleaning.

The rooms were clean,comfortable and close to restaraunts and stores.

The designated parking system works just fine until somebody with a large pick-up is assigned the tiny wedge shaped stall 2 stalls left of stall 112,and then decides to take yours, and then you decide to take the next available empty spot and the musical chair parking spot game begins. I think there is room for improvement with the existing designated parking system. ie; If the designated parking spot will only accommodate a bicycle, then only rent that room to a guest with a bicyle.

The staff are just lovely people! The bed was very comfortable and layed on top was a down duvet that was just luxurious. I appreciated having a microwave and small fridge, the coffee in the room was even wonderful! Very clean, warm, and bright.

I didn't hear a peep out of the neighboring suites beside me, but I could hear quite a bit above me. In their defense, some people are just louder than others.

I did not have any breakfast at the Inn. The location close to the major highway was perfect, as I arrived late and needed to leave early in the morning.

I only stayed a few hours to have a good night sleep. I had no time to explore and experience more.

The room was clean and spacious, bed comfortable, towels fluffy and new. Situated on the highway but sound proofed, so quiet.

The common room was no longer available. There was no comfortable outside space to enjoy a book or lounge., A few flowers or even greenery would have been great.

There was a plug-in scent thing that emitted a very strong fragrance. I thought hotels and motels would try to make their rooms scent-free as many people are allergic to strong scents.
