Best Western Mountainview Inn

Excellent stay at the hotel. Room was great. Breakfast had a decent selection. We arrived late in the evening. The lady at check-in was lovely. The location in Golden is excellent because it can be a jumping off point to enter Alberta (Banff, Lake Louise).

Sounded/ looked like the hotel was fully booked up so there was clearly not enough seating room for breakfast. We were lucky to get a seat when we arrived. Also some of the food had run out 15-20 minutes before closing time. Was sad that they didn't refill it even though people were still streaming in and it would have been eaten.

Breakfast was good., in spite of covid. Had eggs, rolls, juice, bread, coffee. Requested quiet room, which we got because it was late April 2022. Staff was very attentive. House keeping was very congenial. So was front desk gal that day, and the next morning man.

We had to change rooms because the TV didn't work even though the front desk gal tried to help, along with house keeping. It was a fun thing after all, and we got an upgrade to a suite ,which was huge! But not necessary!......we left good tips and got extra water and chips when we left. Cheers! to the staff!

The views from the parking lot were spell binding. Amazing staff and a very VERY cozy room. The only grouse was the noisy heating/cooling equipment. The breakfast and especially their scrambled eggs and that COFFEE!!!!! Simply wow! We wished to spend the whole 4hrs of the bf time drinking their coffee..the best brewed coffee.

The elevator and the fact that they did not offer even a water bottle unless you sign up for the BW membership. Checked in late at night and didn't have the energy to listen to all the explanation however they could have offered a complimentary water bottle after all for someone who asks for it must really need it.

The Best Western Mountain View hotel in Golden, BC was very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast is by far the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in ages. Proper plates🤗. The food is so good (especially the scrambled eggs (yum) and staff are there to help. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel. It’s just off the highway although the rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable. Various places to have dinner in walking distance.

Nothing I didn’t really like apart from maybe the hotel could do with some decorating. But I enjoyed my stay. I would stay there again.

Stayed in a two queen sized room. Beds were comfy, quiet room. No traffic noise. Lots of room and added touches like bench, fridge, microwave, armchair with ottoman. Hot breakfast and coffee/cookie service was great. Also appreciated having coin laundry. Great stay and had all the conveniences needed for a trail running event or hiking.

There was a room available, since I booked earlier in the day. The TV worked well and the staff was able to provide change for the washing machine, from US bills! Super nice of them.

Only two luggage carts. There were families with copious quantities of stuff and they seemed to keep their stuff on the carts for hours while they waited for who-knows-what. Staff shouldn't allow this.

Great place to stay. The breakfast was the best! Lots of variety: waffles, pancakes, cereal, etc. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was very "homely". The front desk staff were amazing, they were really good about recommendations and are very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Great value for money!

One of the best places we stayed, with superb cleanliness from rooms, to the pool and surrounding area. Great staff too, very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was awesome too, they kept it warm and never ran out. The room view was amazing, though we requested the main floor, we still get a mountain view. This place has all we need, my children enjoyed the clean pool and we love that they have a place for our dogs as well.

It would be nice if the water in the pool is warmer during this season.

pet friendly ground floor suite. Very comfortable set up. Good tv, was able to set up our fire stick. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Large very clean bathroom with granite counters. The suite was well appointed with quality furniture and carpets and mini fridge and microwave. Air conditioning/heating unit worked well as was easy to adjust. Complimentary Hot breakfast provided. We have stayed more than once.

We didn’t stay for breakfast because we wanted to get on the road. Grabbed an orange and left. Breakfast looked good though!

We couldn’t get our tv to work. However, the lady from the front desk did her best to solve the problem. We went for a drive and when we returned we tried it again and got it working. The lady from the front desk came to our room with a bottle of wine and an apology note. This was a very nice gesture! So in the end all was great!!
