comfortable clean rooms. excellent breakfast buffet.

the only negative was the morning I was checking out the cleaning staff member knocked on my door shortly after 10 am to ask if I was checking out. I told her through the door that I was checking out that morning. check out was at noon. at 10:45 she was knocking on my door again to ask when I was checking out because she had to clean the room. I felt like I was being pressured to leave for her convenience! it was extremely annoying! I did lodge a complaint with the front desk as I was checking out.

Facility was clean and rooms were amazing. Breakfast was great. Overall great experience.

When I booked online through booking.com I wrote in a request for a pet friendly room. Only to find out that it was not in the system. I had already paid for the room online and they still wanted a deposit $100 dollars which was fine. The only thing was when I was checking out they decided to do back pay of 25.00 dollars cause I did not notify them about the pet, yet when I can and checked in they saw I had a dog in crate and I would go in and out for the dog to potty. Also I made sure online to request a pet friendly room. So instead of getting my $100 deposit I only be getting $75.00. Lesson learned always double check with front counter about pet room request.

It was a nice place and met our expectations. The staff was friendly which you can always appreciate. The bathroom floor was heated which was a nice touch that we hadn't seen at any other hotels during our extended trip. The breakfast was also great. We slept well and would go back.

The hotel isn't in the greatest location. The area seemed very run down and dirty which made me slightly concerned about our vehicle overnight but it was fine. I just found myself worrying through the night. When I walked the dog in the morning, I went out of a stair exit on the side of the hotel and found what appeared to be a homeless hangout which kind of confirmed my concern.

Very comfy well equipped room and beds. Heated floor and nightlite in bathroom. Very clean. Accidentally booked a handicapped room which we didn't need and staff were most helpful about sorting it out. Great breakfast buffet with quality food that was kept at proper temperatures.

Location is a bit awkward at the moment due to road construction (nothing the hotel can do and worth the extra bit of circling around). Unfortunately had guests across the hall who had children with screaming tantrums at 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM.

Nicest place to stay in Ft. St. John - the hotel is also a conference centre, and is clean and tastefully appointed. Super comfortable beds, excellent food in the hotel restaurant for dinner, fresh cookies/fresh fruit at check in is a nice touch. Shower is large, towels fluffy, cozy bedding and perfect pillows. Amazing sunrise views from the upper floors.

The breakfast buffet isn't nearly as good as the rest of the food on offer at the restaurant - wouldn't recommend it. If it's windy (which it often is!) the wind whistles across the windows very loudly - consider packing earplugs to help sleep.

Bathrooms really need upgrading, they are so dated. Rubber sealing around one window was half off and hanging. The breakfast used to be so good, but this time it was limited and a bit cold. Very noisy during the night as well, we could hear all sorts of people making noise.

Never had the breakfast, but had dinner in the restaurant and it was outstanding.

Shower had poor water pressure. The room service thing I understand but having to argue with the front desk over bottled water was a bit of a pain. If we had room service we would have received 2 bottles of water each day, the desk clerk did not want to give us water the second day, wanted us to pay for it. She relented, but it was a pain.

Exceptional service for a fair price, breakfast included - variety of choices. Wide, clean beds. Clean bathroom. Sufficient plugs and USB ports for charging. Coffee available in the room and in the lobby.

The only thing for me was that the fridge was extremely small and not enough space for the ice packs.

Nice spacious room, underfloor heating in bathroom, huge comfortable bed. Food was good - complimentary breakfast was extensive and tasty.

Front desk and the restaurant don't answer their phones. Had to go down to the restaurant to order room service. Bedroom heating only did off or on. Not thermostat controlled.

My partner enjoyed the breakfast and the kitchen staff and chef worked really hard to make sure there was plenty to choose from and that nothing ran out, even cooked more food even though the complimentary breakfast was to be over shortly. The gentleman at the front desk filled a cooler bag with ice so we could transport the fish we caught as well. Great service in the hotel and restaurant.

Ice machines were not on each floor and the one I did find was broken, but this was easily rectified by FD staff.
