Amenities like the patio/bbq/fire pit/free breakfast! Seems locally owned and operated, clean and quaint plus affordable! Close proximity to the lake and businesses (grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, ice cream/sub shop, restaurants) the ladies at the desk (greta and Vicki) were very accommodating and brought us paper plates and bowl/utensils. She even helped us get back into our room when I locked our key cards inside. Small town feel hotel, will be returning!

Only downside I would say is the train going by every hour or two. I got ear plugs and slept fine. my significant other and 9 year old slept well and didn’t notice it at all.

This property was convenient clean & the front desk was so very nice! All the staff was nice and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here a lot more. The price is also very affordable! I love the little cook top and there was dishes & pots supplied and the fridge was of a bigger size, so you could save some money and buy some groceries.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Location okay for small town Wabamum...walking distance to lake, the few shops in town, train always an issue in Wabamum (not hotel's fault), neighborhood a bit run down, tea provided in room (usually coffee is provided but rarely tea -- and it was Earl Grey too!) We needed an iron and they were able to provide us one.

I could not get the waffles to cook properly (underdone), no margarine for the waffles, but nice to have juice, cereal, yogurt, etc. I thought the price was a bit high for Wabamum.

Location was great. Bed was comfortable. Nice to have the couch to watch TV and relax. Having a large fridge is nice for a change. Staff were very friendly.

Not used to stay by the train tracks but it was ok. Maps made it hard to find..

The breakfast met expectations. The staff were great, everyone we met were friendly and always acknowledged us. The room was very clean and updated. The bigger size fridge was great, it worked well for our 6 night stay. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Smokers sitting on balcony very close to the rooms, we often smelled the cigarette or weed smoke.

The staffs are friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and the A/c is phenomenal esp on a hot weather. It's totally worth it for the price that you pay rather than tenting. We'll come back for sure!

I check the room before settling in. It was clean, well stocked with supplies and the bed was made up nicely. No flies and a nice clean smell.

Full variety of TV channels, great kitchenette, lots of room, close to everything you might need, easy to find.

Walls are a bit thin, I could hear the TV next door, the room was a bit warm for my liking until I figured it out.

The owner was friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable. There was lots of parking for my truck and trailer. Overall a good experience. I would stay here again....for sure.

Rooms were nice

The town itself doesn't seem very nice. This doesn't detract from the quality of the hotel, but I thought it worth noting.
